- Perplexity.ai is the first of its kind LLM-powered answer engine that has established itself as the most accurate and useful research assistant for conversations and questions that require answers to be backed by facts and references. In this presentation, Aravind Srinivas, the founder and CEO, will go through the engineering challenges involved in getting there within the time and resource constraints and the opportunities that lie ahead in rethinking the most important software category of asking questions about anything and everything.

I love the way how he shared the story
This was a really great talk - great to see Perplexity's non-linear journey!!
This was really a good and informative one. I see Perplexity being acquired by Google. Thanks for sharing.
sadly it probably will be :\
Google can't buy perplexity coz it runs on azure cloud, and the business models are different. Google runs on an ad revenue model and if they will incorporate Perplexity, they will have to cannibalize themselves.
hopefully not, i want to see them become a serious rival and remain one
Maybe anthropic of another
This is what Bing already does right?
if you are ready for something fresh, Perplexity is the answer
You should compare the results of the two for yourself
Try it, Perplexity is much much better than Bing
see for yourself
i feel like perplexity is way faster
audio quality is terrible
An engineer as a founder, the communication skills are much needed. Need a marketer or real CEO to explain things.

What a disjointed , rambling, ad disorganized talk. Here’s a tip. Tell them what you’re going to tell them, tell them, then tell them what you just told them.
