    Hej ! Fantastiskt fint filmat och berättat viket är en ledstjärna för oss nu. Vi reser efter den nu och har gjort kväll i Haukland beach. En otroligt fin plats! Hur fantastiskt fint ni än har återgett landskapet i er film så överträffas den av verkligheten som har fler dimensioner. Men återigen er presentation är en stor magnet. Fortsätt på det ni är bra på!

    Thanks for posting this (both part 1 and 2)! I grew up in Lødingen, which you may have passed on your way to Lofoten, and I've visited some of these places several times, but it's very nice to see them again in such a well made video. Especially since I now live in a bigger city far away, and I miss the region I grew up in :)

      @Beelzebus  2 роки тому +1

      Glad you enjoyed it! Must have been amazing growing up in the area 🤗 we really would like to go back again sometime, Do you have any tips on places to see around or in Lødingen? we love exploring new places 🤗

    • @wamporeycidulgb
      @wamporeycidulgb 2 роки тому +1

      @@Beelzebus Lødingen is so tiny, it doesn't really compare to for example Svolvær...
      I am a bit of a (local) history nerd, so I'd recommend the old, abandoned coastal fort, and maybe a guided boat trip. A local couple put on a seasonal war history museum, but I think it's only open two weeks during summer. (They both have other jobs and commitments - one of which is running the local movie theater; in my opinion, the greatest small town movie theater in the world!) There's also hikes to old, historic burial sites, and a 5000 (or more?) year old rock carving.
      Outside of Lødingen, though, I highly recommend traversing the entire width of mainland Norway in one day (or two, if you want more relaxed hike) along Rallarvegen from Riksgränsen in Sweden, to Rombaksbotn near Narvik 😀 It's about 16 km if you get picked up by boat when you reach the ocean, and an additional 7 km if you backtrack a bit and catch the train to Narvik.

    • @Beelzebus
      @Beelzebus  2 роки тому +1

      We actually prefer smaller towns and places! Those are often hidden gems 😉 OOOOOO! Coastal fort we´re definitely checking it out next time we pass Lødingen! we will probably try to find the carvings also 🥳🥳
      We have actually checked out the Rallarvegen we thought of maybe cycling it but it´s in the south of Norway right?
      We usually take the Riksgränsen route to Lofoten so it would be awesome to hike to Narvik for example 🤗😀
      Thank you so much for all the tips we really appreciate them!

    • @wamporeycidulgb
      @wamporeycidulgb 2 роки тому

      @@Beelzebus Oh yeah, there is one in the south, too 🙂 I don't know much about that one, but the one from Riksgränsen to Rombaksbotn (and then back to Katterat train station if you don't want to take a boat from Rombaksbotn) is probably doable on bicycles. I was passed by a couple of bicyclists when I hiked it in 2017.
      Come to think of it, if you park Beelzebus at Riksgränsen, you should be able to take the train from Katterat station back to Riksgränsen, and then drive on from there. 🤔

Brenna and the blacksmith are those places that I haven't be yet. There is also few trips coming when this corona situation is over. One is the regular every year summer trip with my wife with our camper van and the other is with motorcycle and with my friends. I just realised that I have a picture of your car... Hi what a nice video's and what a nice dog...I planned a travel in next september to the Nord Kapp and I want to visit the Lofoten as well. I drive a MB L608D campervan from 1976. is there something were i have to count with? rules and regulation wise? things that i have to arrange in advance. as far as i know Corona is holding me back but i hope in september it will be better, we are two months further than.
    Nice paintings on your bus, I like it very much.
    the diesel heater, is that enough? I have two heaters, a diesel heater witch also heats the engine as a safety heater and a standart Truma gas heating system on LPG. how difficult is it to find auto gas (LPG)?

      and if you go to Lofoten the best place to refill gas is in Svolvær.
      Our diesel heater is 5kw and it is more than enough.

    nice video! We were in Lofoten 15 years ago and it was not that much touristic than. It seems to be a lot more crowded now. @bernahazenbroek4867 4 роки тому +1

      @@Beelzebus yes of course it won't keep us away. First we have to see if corona makes it possible to go. And perhaps, because of that, its less crowded. Last year we went to the french alpes, just a week after de borders were openend. And it was really quit. while normally in places like Annecy or the route des grand alpes is also very crowded.

    Is freedom camping allowed in Scandinavia?

    • @Beelzebus
      @Beelzebus  3 роки тому +1

      Hello! Yes, in Sweden we have a law called "allemansrätten" or "right of public access". We have a video about van-lifeing in Sweden, if you are interested to know more about it. But in short, thanks to the right of public access, everyone can move freely in Swedish nature. And even if the property is privately owned, you are still allowed to stay there for 24 hours as long as you are not disturbing anyone. Of course, you can't park right in front of someone's house, well, technically you can, but the owners will probably ask you to move somewhere else then. Norway, Finland and Denmark also have the same law, but there might be some differences, of course.

    Oh shit. It seemed too good to be true. I´m sorry to say: Carelessness in letting your dog chew on something which you put back there for someone else to eat... Carelessness having your dog drink from the source people will take their drinking water. What were you thinking? You should have taken that dried fish and asked where can you pay for the damage. You should have had a bowl for the water for your dog. Come on. I´m going to unsubscribe. But I´d like to hear your view first before I decide either way.

    • @Beelzebus
      @Beelzebus  4 роки тому +5

      If you don’t believe we are normal decent people and need some kind of explanation from us after you were very rude to us, maybe you should unsubscribe. 🤷‍♀️ FYI, if you’ve read our previous comments, you’d know that this water source was not for people. And that the fish was not for use. I wish you would go to a place like that, where they actually dry fish for use (which again - wasn’t the case), then you would see with your own eyes how it all happens and wouldn’t even write something like that to us even if that fish was going to be used. But again, it wasn’t. It is a ghost town. There’s no point to be rude in the comments to someone you don’t know about something you don’t know. There’s no pint to be rude to anyone about absolutely anything. There’s always a way to talk to people nicely. If you don’t like our content or us for some reason, it is fine. I hope you find another channel that you really like and enjoy. Good luck and I still hope you have a great weekend.

      We probably should have specified in this video, but we actually didn’t film the part where we took that fish out again and threw it away. Just in case. Even though that fish was not for eating but for display as this whole town is a museum and not a real fishing village. The fish is lying under the houses on the ground where any rodent can chew on it. But specifically that fish we took with us, we just didn’t film it. 🤗 Thanks for your comment.

    • @VesaGuardian
      @VesaGuardian 4 роки тому

      @@Beelzebus You threw that away? Did you pay for it? Did you think that these fish were set up there to dry just for your enjoyment? Someones living depends on that. I think you should stay at home to do no more damage.

    • @Beelzebus
      @Beelzebus  4 роки тому +2

      @@VesaGuardian I think you should not jump into assumptions. This is a town-museum, I think we specified that in our video. No ones living depends on that fish. It is lying under a house where any rodents and insects can take a bite or make a nest in it, for display purposes only. Maybe you shouldn’t jump into conclusions too fast and actually start a nice conversation with people before being so rude and accusing them in something they didn’t do. You could have asked us instead of being so rude. Cheers, I wish you a happy life and a nice weekend.
