@basstrammel1322 I definitely agree but you can't tell me his garage ain't worth over a mill inside 🤣 he definitely had some of the most beautiful units on YT no doubt
@@ianj8505 it still takes a lot of practice and hard work to do these things. Spoon could be teaching Master Courses and the students still not be able to put it to practice.

Hi.i am a petrolhead from finland.having my own rsceshop for allmost 32 years.i hsve done much ott bodywork, but nothing neer to spoons work.much respect, jimmy and the gang. thanks for amasing content. greetings from finkand, p,s apologise for bad english.
Spoon watching you work has become one of my top favorite past times when watching Oakes Garage videos. Dude you are a master at wut you do. Everyone can agree that things have drastically improved since you joined. And you're only getting better. It's awesome bro
Spoon, you never cease to amaze me with your talents, but bro, the tape template trick was fire. Jimmy is one lucky boy to have you literally make him and his cars look good. I know he respects you.
Spoon I’ve never once done any body work but I feel like I have some idea where to start because of you. I love how you take the time to explain the process and give tips along the way. You could so easily let your work speak for itself but I really appreciate the extra effort you take to teach as you go
So happy to see the recognition the guys in the “background” get, Spoon is a master at his craft and deserves all the love and support. Dude is an absolute beast
Cool!! I get a Sikorsky helicopter too and from my job, I work offshore of Newfoundland Canada in oil and gas, we get a S-92 every three weeks from the FPSO to land. About a 2 hour ride each way. I’m actually offshore right now! Small world!! Spoon could’ve built something for one of those choppers!
Dude, Spoon, I’ve been doing this a LONG time. Yet, every time I watch a video staring Spoon, I learn a badass new trick. Thanks for teaching us. Wish I’d had this video a year ago when I did the bodywork on my MKII MR2 Turbo.
That quarter cut and filler panel work was MINT!!! Everyone that needs auto bodywork done needs a Spoon!! Jimmy you got one hell of a team behind you!!! Can’t wait to see more content! And see these cars drive, drift and shred!!!
I absolutely love seeing Spoon work, he's such a skilled dude that takes so much pride in his work, he's a real gem in your team Jimmy, can't wait for his build!
Really glad I was able to get something at least, I got the croc charms which are fireee 🔥 first time getting UA-camr merch and I’m really glad it was yours ❤ Definitely my favorite UA-camr love y’all ✌🏽
As a body tech apprentice with a journeyman thats done it 20+ years, spoon is spitting facts on filler, exactly what my journeyman says. ill try using latex gloves cuz man sometimes you just be feeling metal, paint edges, lows and highs and you dont know where you're at all. Great advice man
I appreciate these spoon informational videos when it comes to paint and body work since I'm about to pull fenders on my shitbox to fix what some Jersey shop did before I got the car
Yeah bro, that razor blade trick works well. I use a file though, which is a bit easier, because it's bigger in your hand which makes it not as fiddly.
8:55 what spoon is talking about with the latex gloves is really true. Your hands are super sensitive and can tell height differences that aren’t visible to the naked eye. If you don’t want to use latex or are allergic to it, another substitute is to use a paper towel
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, spoon has been an amazing inspiration for my career! Thank you for sharing this you are amazing. Thank you 🫡
Spoon is such a huge inspiration for me. I love building and creating things from scratch. But I've never welded on my own before. I've started to learn how to weld but still a rookie. But I definitely want to buy a welder now and just make things
seeing spoon use tricks ive seen my dad use since i was kid is hella cool, also spoon the way you made that piece to cover the open wheel well was perfect thats how i would do it also, same as you not a fan of using the inner sheet of metal.
Im sure this has been said before but jimmy you have an amazing team/ group of friends that produce amazing projects and they always put there heart and souls into each car they touch
Well done for replacing that arch lip legit. Seen too many hack jobs on arches. Stuck your head right in there and made it good. You guys were down to earth at Lz Ireland. Just saw you out and about with the crowd instead of hiding in the pits. Jimmy signing stuff and interacting with the crowd whilst driving. Keep the good vibe going guys 👏🏻👊🏻
