I was looking for a hibiscus video but kept coming up with this one. I am so glad I did - I am going to try this approach on my hibiscus- very well done - thank you. I would love to see more line and wash and a hibiscus video if you do one! Always enjoy your work.
Thank you Emma I have learnt so much from watching your videos. You explain things so clearly and I’m sure my watercolours have improved since I’ve been watching you.
I really like line and wash!! This was a great and easily doable project. I use a light board to trace the line drawing that I've worked up on paper. That way I can use a drawing over and over. Light board works well with watercolor paper.
Thank you for making another cool video ... I really hope all is well by you and your family at this time ...over by me feels like the twilight zone, I am having a hard time even focusing lately the weather has been incredible here at least thank god the suns been coming out Thank god for this outlet you are providing here I'm sorry I normally just keep it moving. it was cool hearing the baby in the background he's adorable and funny...
I like watching your tutorials. I always learn something. I painted the rain boots you did almost the same color but changed up the flowers a little. I do need more practice on florals, but learning so much from all the tutorials I watch. Blessings and prayers for healthy days ahead for all!
Thank you! This is beautiful! I like to do it backwards. I have a simple design in my head so I lay down colour accordingly. Then when it is dry I do the drawing. Never know what is going to pop up in the picture!
Beautiful line and wash florals! I just love the subtle colors you use in the flower paintings. A huge fan😊 Thanks for sharing. Hope we could stay connected. Have a wonderful day Emma!
thank you for this. painted along with you and had such fun. First time i'v managed a loose watercolour that i'm pleased with albeit that i only had inexpensive materials to hand
you are very talented!! Love this style of work!! You are so great at teaching watercolor the easy and understandable way, love yr channel very much for that. A very sweet girl, that is what you are. Wish you all the best in these difficult times.
Just ordered my mono pen..and permanent rose !I love following your paintings cause they are so easy to follow..and each painting I follow I tag you..♥️
Ahh this is so good! Line and wash... ohhh that is the name of what I seem to be drawn the most too. I love loose florals but haven’t mastered them.. yet I can draw ( erase my way to a good drawing shall I say) lol. I think this may be a good fit for me to try. Great work Emma!
Thank you so much for this video. Hope you will be doing more like this I am just learning watercolor and this helps. Would love to be able to get a traceable pattern.
Hmmmm...what is a mono pen? And how does it work differently than a sharpie marker? Does it act more like a pencil? I may have to get one of these. Love love love your videos! Your teaching method is great and easy to understand. Thank you!
Having trouble. Getting. Added for download. Keep trying. After times comment. By. Whater. Doanload was. Cancelled, i am trying to start. Painting. After losing husband n 8 months one of our daughters if you can. Iv set a room to work in. Trying to sign has become frustating
I love your videos and have tried. many. Here you don't have the name of the pen you are using. I have Microline05 .45mm and a micron 003 but I find the ink doesn't flow well and I am always having to scribble them. The one you are using here I haven't seen. Could you give the number please and do you have a suggestion of the type of pens and sizes are handy with this work. Thankyou, love all your videos
Emma. You have taught me so much. I love painting flowers and watching your tutorials. I grow huge flower gardens and have for decades at my home in Vermont, so I know a lot about flowers and their names and pronunciations. Most artists do not, but I would love to teach you and anyone else the proper way to remember how to say "Anemone," the flower most people mispronounce by saying "anenome." It's a hard word to say. Just remember in your head "Any money." Say it funny and you get Anemone. Just like the underwater invertebrate the sea anemone. All pronounced the same. I hope I did not offend, I only wanted to help you say it right seeing as you are teaching how to paint the subject. Thanks for teaching me. I adore you.
Just finished drawing this painstaking hours. It was BEAUTIFUL. Then when I went to put water on for the beginning part, it all bled! I am sick. The zig pen I used said it was waterproof. I looked up the mono on amazon, and its' description says water-based pigment. What is your experience with this? I don't want another disaster. Thank you!
I can't draw to save my life. I would love if you could trace your lines and make them available in PDF so I can follow along. Or better, I would purchase a book of line sketches from you etsy site that I could use for tracing :)
I enjoyed the video's, very well done and easy to follow. I check out your Etsy store and purchased the beginners guide to watercolours. Great information, just a bit disappointed at the limited content. No a good value for 20$
You are really good at showing how to do each step, every time I watch one of your videos I really feel that I learned something. Thanks so much!
Thank you for adding the sketching with the explanations🌸

Hi, Emma, thank you for all your lovely tutorials! I'm wondering, is the book you show at the beginning still available? I can't seem to find it.
Very nice
Just did this today. Thank you so much. i'm not good in drawing but I just follow you and did it.💗💗💗 I will send it to you IG hihi
What did you use for line work pls ta
What sketching pencils and markers do you use?
You do beautiful work! What type of ink pen do you use! I buy waterproof ones but when I add water they always bleed!
I really like the Pigma Micron pens. Maybe you need to just give it a bit of time to fully dry before you put the watercolour on top?
Emma Lefebvre I have those! I will try letting them dry a bit before trying to watercolor over it! Thanks for getting back to me!
Hola, me encanta todo lo que haces! 💞🤩 Consulta podrías considerar ponerle subtítulos en español?

how did you get the colour for the anemone?

Why does the black outline have to be so dark

Yes, Emma! You could offer downloads to your Patreon members. Hint hint. 😊
I can’t draw either, I used a rubber stamp.
Absolutely, that would be fantastic

Time to get off the internet and save the bandwidth for people who need it in this global emergency. I’m out.
