I think this is Kent's best work to date. There was a depth and breath to his movement that took him to a whole new level. As a relationship writer I appreciate Dee's concept --albeit somewhat abstract to some--and the symbolism the chairs represent. Adechike's role, as a friend in need, was brilliantly portrayed and was his most shining moment, too. As lovely as the Travis piece was, this was the piece of the night for me. . .stunning. Great job everybody~
Thank you so much for uploding this. I think it's one of the most genuine and organic dances that has been featured on the show-- particularly seeing as I was definately expecting to be laughing at Chike and Kent and all their giggly cuteness XD
Did anyone else notice the tense shoulders on Adechike through the dance then finally at 1:32 "trust my feet" he relaxes. Just thought I'd throw that out there....hehe!! Great choreo and beautifully danced by both Kent and Adechicke.
Not only do I adore Kent and Adechike but I am a HUGE Tom Mcrae fan and all that combined with this beautiful dance just makes this completely awesome!
@oilmeuprobot Yeah, season 7 really set a new standard for male duets. They introduced a whole new idea to the show with this and Kent and Neil's. Beautiful. Really, really beautiful.
If you wanted to look at Kent and Neil's piece this week as more than just "friendship", then it's really interesting to re-watch this routine. You could almost think of it as Adechike trying to move Kent away from Neil. I know that that's not really the case, but still it's kind of a neat twist.
I thought this was so amazing!! But weirdly romantic...like I expected kent to jump in to adechike's arms lol...I mean if they are going fot that then it is amazing but other wise this was def a romance dance!!
@GraceIsGiven1 If you watch an interview with Kent and Adechike, adechike says that Kent secretly has a crush on lauren, and the kiss was in fact NOT a part of the choreo.
@ Jim2738426- ummm that's not true cause she's in love with ade and also she noted that the best contemporary dancer that's out today is Desmond Richardson! So that's not true !
@Socool2002 i agree that he is a good dancer, better than me that's for sure! but he has had maybe 2 or 3 good performances on the entire season, whereas robert has killed almost everything he does. i very much disagree. i think that robert would be better in the finale. the only thing that's getting adichike by now is that people "feel sympathy for him" or think he's "hot" please realize that if voters hadn't saved adichike many times before, the judges probably would have sent him home.
@EliteHitman0213 What are you? 14? Grow up. All they said was that he was a bad actor, and I agree. His and Lauren's dance might have been amazing, but it's because they weren't acting. The kiss wasn't even choreographed. He actually liked her.
people: vote for LAUREN, ROBERT and KENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you have seen the most recent show aka the top 4 perform, then you cannot deny that they belong in the finale! especially Kent with the amazing gutwrenching flawless travis wall routine of him and neil about a "backstabbing friend" i'm sorry, but please realize that Adichike does not measure up to them. he has been crappy all season and he always dances the same he never dances open, he is the least versatile he's not brilliant
I think this is one of the most underrated pieces the show's ever had!!! The artistry behind the movement and the visual lines are amazing!

:)
white chocolate and dark chocolate, as they call themselves, are amazing.

ADECHIKE IS ACTUALLY AWESOME. MIA WAS TOO HARSH. ARGHHHHHHHHHH HAHAHAH:)
@realsparkler I agree completely.
@ThePinkoreo2 I was talking about the characters that they were portraying, not the actual people.
Can you upload the interview part of this vid too? =]
@wolfmistic Hmm interesting! It is a neat twist :)
@ Hailo7788- so true but obviously he doing something right cause he still in the competition!
@oilmeuprobot- so truee!!!
@ Jim2738426- ummm that's not true cause she's in love with ade and also she noted that the best contemporary dancer that's out today is Desmond Richardson! So that's not true !
What the hell was that?
@VonneDutch Good thing the dance had nothing to do with the two of them being together...
@harryxedwardxlover13 Kent was in a bad relationship and adechike was his friend trying to get him out of it.
What was the premise of this piece?
@wolfmistic ok good, i was 'bout to SAY
@oilmeuprobot whats the story about? two gay men fighting over furniture arrangement in their fabulous 5th avenue apartment?
@Socool2002 i agree that he is a good dancer, better than me that's for sure! but he has had maybe 2 or 3 good performances on the entire season, whereas robert has killed almost everything he does. i very much disagree. i think that robert would be better in the finale. the only thing that's getting adichike by now is that people "feel sympathy for him" or think he's "hot" please realize that if voters hadn't saved adichike many times before, the judges probably would have sent him home.
I love the dancing but i don't really get the concept of it. Kent's girlfriend is a chair???
they were harsh on adechike yea mia was a tough judge she wont be back this season she doesnt like being a judge!!
@wolfmistic wtf? kent and Neil?? NO Kent and Lauren!!!
@EliteHitman0213 What are you? 14? Grow up. All they said was that he was a bad actor, and I agree. His and Lauren's dance might have been amazing, but it's because they weren't acting. The kiss wasn't even choreographed. He actually liked her.

@callmecals no you're just too emotional
@dancinkk22 no sense of humor.
mia michaels really hates him and i dnt kno why cause he clearly can DANCE REALLY GOOD!!!! she's just over reacting!=(
