@@mikelego9362 as nice as it is to have both parents in a child’s life this isn’t because of not having a dad! The problem is how the mother has chosen to parent. She doesn’t need a dad to tell her right from wrong or to tell her there should be rules and then consequences when the rules are broken.
Lots of parents do it on their own and their children become responsible successful productive members of society.
This is not a single parent issue it’s an issue with THAT mother
Oh ya, don't you hate that what, who me face?
@Marilyn Willett well have to agree to disagree. Justifying or excusing bad behavior by blaming it on an absentee parent is nothing but a total cop out.
Trash begets trash.
The daughter is trouble and the mother enables her. The kids should be jailed to teach her a lesson cause the mother sure isn’t.
Mother & daughter don't seem to give a damn
Exactly! They’re both losers!
That apple did not fall far from the tree!
Was it just me or did the mother say at one point to the Judge, “I was there” & then turned around & said “I wasn’t there!” when the Plaintiff said he gave her a business card? Talking in circles trying to get out of paying 🙄
right were you there or not casper
@@nationalrep8057 😂😂😂
She left her night shift job BRIEFLY to tend to this emergency. She spoke to the cops. Then her husband drove her back to work and finish the rest of her shift. She was there, but she left before the tow guy drove off. She told the police where she wanted it towed
@@deee3950 Exactly what I understood as well. People are quick to draw conclusions but refuse to sharpen their listening skills, rendering their opinions useless.
Unfortunately people like this will always wash their hands of things. It’s likely the same reason she had to file bankruptcy. Some people just choose not to take ownership of issues they caused
I can do anything I want to do because I'm her daughter.
Let's see how that works out for you , mommy .
That apple did not fall far from the tree. She got it from here mama!
SMH! The mother knows the daughter is a problem. Mother's reaction is not of a CONCERNED PARENT!
Absolutely agree!
Leave those QUEENS alone .. this country owes them so much more
@@thecheshirecat299 Grow up.
@@TT-th1gb when u are grown u tell the truth so that’s what I’m doing
Its nice to see SideShow Bob on Judge Judy!
Judge Judy ?
Why is her mother speaking for her? She’s 23, not 12.
Because the kid doesn’t even know how many cars were involved in the accident she caused.
The car belonged to the mother. And the daughter is a ditz.
23 is the new 12 😀
That's why she's in the predicament that she's in because her mother does not hold her accountable for her actions.
The mother wouldn't be angry with her daughter because she knew she didn't have a license and she still allowed her to use the car, so she was partly responsible.
Mom had the money to bond her daughter out but not to pay for her drug and alcohol classes that might have kept this from happening. Mom new that her daughter shouldn't be driving and gave her the car anyway. Mom knew she needed to get the car out of impound and neglected to do it. No wonder the daughter is also irresponsible.
The wife’s face when the defendant said “ can i do a payment plan?” 😂😂😂
As soon as she wasn’t even aware how many cars got damaged in the wreck I knew she had DUIs 🤣🤣🤣
Nothing is funny about having DUIs.
She said she wasn’t there then said she got the stuff out the car and talked to the tow driver
She's never had consequences and shocked that now there are legal consequences!!!
She is not helping her daughter, she is on the road to no where.
How can you say some shit like that
I thought she was 12 years old and in court with mommy 😂 no way she’s in her 20s. Can’t take responsibility for her actions and I see where she gets it from
I watch this show way too much. This show and judge Mathis 😂
Same here!
Yep Mathis is too moody though 😂😂
Yes!
Same!
😆 Me too!
that kid was high in court...just look at her eyes, you can tell. If she can't remember the "whys" then she has had numerous warrants. I would most certainly remember why my driver's license was suspended!
"I'm her 'dorter'. Things happen." From someone driving with a suspended license. NO responsibility. NO consequences. NO feelings of guilt. "It is, what it is." Such monumental BS. Oh and of course, overextend your finances, then declare bankruptcy, and leave all of your creditors hanging. Disgusting.
What you describe is a sociopath-
Beyond disgusting. As it is often said, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!"
The mother knew all abt her daughter circumstances and completely enabled her or better yet has been enabling her. TBH....I would not be surprised if they get high/drunk together and judging how both were dressed, my thinking is, they went and grabbed a pint to toss back a few. Wretchedness via two Wretches.
I can’t stand it! It’s an impoverished mindset. Well at least this judgment won’t fall under her recent bankruptcy filing. Hopefully the company can garnish her wages.
@@corporateraider77 The show actually pays the judgment, which contributes to the mom & daughter not caring what happens. So while they have found a way to wriggle out of the consequences, at least that poor guy will get his money. If you win a court case and the other person doesn’t pay, you’ll need to file a lot of other paperwork to garnish. That’s why there’s a cottage industry around either helping people collect (for a %) or buying judgments for pennies on the dollar.
@@ellicel no they don't. I wish people would stop saying this. Each people's court case only has a $500 appearance fee that all goes to the plaintiff if they win and that $250 is deducted from any judgment. Feel free to google it.
Her mom making excuses for this grown woman, bonding her out (WONT HELP HER!!)
If that girl doesn’t get help, she will eventually pay with her life or someone else’s
The defendants mom makes no sense...... she had money to bond her daughter out after the fact , but couldn't give her money the daughter needed for the DUI classes in the 1st place ....where is the logic in this thinking ????
she's smiling because she got a discount on what she had to pay. she knew what her daughter did.
“I’m her daughter. Things happen” Wtf kind of an answer is that. Nothing was learned here with both of them. Embarrassing. Good luck with those future bail outs. 🤷🏽♀️ “It is what it is” 😂
Cause people keep saying “they are Queens”
Ooowee, Judge is a bit annoyed today!! Love when she goes Savage!!!!
Superb, parenting skills she’s going to grow up just a wonderful person.
I can’t stand when people act clueless in court. Like when the judge asks a question they take forever to answer 🙄 the daughter knows better!
Side note: The plaintiffs are hustlers. Judge Judy would’ve told him that he is only entitled to 30 days max pay and scolded the mother for not holding her daughter accountable
Yikes…. Nice family dynamics. Not givin a damn
Just take her license away and fine her....put her back in jail for breaking the law so much.....clearly irresponsible!!!
She didn't have the money for drug & alcohol classes but she had bail money at the ready? It costs thousands to just retain a bankruptcy lawyer let alone all the court fees.
She had the money to bond the daughter out of jail but not to take mandated drug and alcohol classes?
When you are mandated...you have to pay. The daughter was supposed to pay for her own classes.
@@Aceofwolves the mother could’ve simply given her the money she needed to pay?
This ain't gonna be the last time going to court with that non chalant attitude they have smh the mother is just as irresponsible 😒
I guess the daughter can do no wrong is what the mother thinks.
The MOTHER is a big fat liar.. At about 9:00, she SAYS she was there at the accident site. Then when the tow driver says he gave her a card, she says, "I wasn't even THERE, I was at work!"
The defendant should pay for the entire thing, driving on suspended license and then wrecking it, and acting like oh well that's really a terrible way to be.
So the plaintiff should be able to store cars past the legal limit and then charge people indefinitely? Good thing you’re not in charge.
the defendant has a complete disregard for the law. She actually doesn't care that her daughter was driving without a license, lying about the accident etc
Every time I watch UA-cam my decision not to have any kids is reaffirmed. Thank You God 🙏for giving me a strong enough mind to reject societal pressures and influence.
You Tube led me to the decision to get myself spayed 😃
@@christophermartin972 😂😂😂
If you have a kid like this, you don’t have to let him or her use your car at age 22 on a suspended license.
Please do not judge every individual in this age range by this young woman's conduct. There are many hard working, responsible, caring young people out there.
Our son is 22 yrs old, works part-time, goes to university full-time, paid off his own truck loan at 20, my husband co-signed, we never had to pony up, he's never been in legal trouble, no police antics, just a great kid ... it does happen!
@@mikesteele05 Exactly. The mother has a cavalier and entitled attitude about everything. The apple never falls far from the tree. Children either EXCEED the parent's character flaws, or rebel against them. We can clearly see what happened here.
“I’m her child’s things happens”… she really answered for her mom. I knew the daughter was lying from the beginning. Only way her daughter pays that back is if she sales her ass. The moment she started talking it was obvious she was a bad liar
Oh yeah, there was this mysterious car that knocked her into the parked cars and then took off. I’ve never heard that one before. That’s like the drunk who says they weren’t driving. ‘Oh no, my buddy was driving. I don’t know his last name or where he lives and no one saw him.’ She’ll be back in court many more times.
The defendant sold her car's title to a payday loan place. That's why she doesn't have a title. The plaintiff can't collect anything as their is a lien holder already against it.
Oh man. Sometimes I wonder why the judge even bothers trying to talk logic into litigants that just simply don't have the IQ to understand what she's saying. That daughter is doomed.
yes
FACTS
I now just saying to myself that I could never be a judge. I cannot deal with stupid people.
Mother quickly found money to post the daughter's bond but not for the tow? She was hoping the problem would go away...
I knew a frog that parked where he shouldn't have, He got toad!
😆
That woman is guilty for wearing that extra tight yellow shirt🤮
Go 👏 Doug 👏 Somebody had to say it!
Both of the defendants should NEVER reproduce
I'am that daughter seems pregnant .🥴
I want to live in the judge’s house ! I love her feisty attitude ❤️😩
The attitude on both mother and daughter
"I'm her daughter; things happen." Mother and daughter are in "agreement" with the mentalities of irresponsibility, selfishness, ingratitude, and straight-up ignorance. The mother can't and won't hold the daughter accountable because she does not hold herself accountable in her life. They both have a character problem. And that is one of the worst kinds of ugly.
No no typical blk person , government pay ,,,wonder what's wrong ,this is what wrong with our country,,blm
Wow, let’s not hold her accountable! That’s why this woman will FAIL in life! Sad!
She could bond her out but she couldn’t help her pay for the class?
The daughter is irresponsible and wreckless and her mother is enabling her. She could’ve hurt somebody!
I love how the Mom said I was down there and then later said, I wasn’t there.
Why did the Judge not pick up on the Mum saying "I was there" then seconds later saying "I wasn't even there".
That’s the problem with these young kids today, single moms they rather be their kid friend than a mom. Of course I would be mad at my child if they drove drunk and wrecked my car.
That girl probably be cussing her momma tf out!!
These tow truck situation are indicative of how folks need to always be careful or theres a possibility they'll be taken advantage of. It's a privilege to drive not a right.
This mom acts like she can't be bothered and the daughter doesn't care either
The mother was lying when she said they told her she could get her stuff because I’m pretty sure that when my car was involved in an auto theft I couldn’t even take items until it was searched and evidence was taken .
A driver with a suspended license driving a car with no title at 6am after being with her cousins probably drinking or smoking without sleep… what could possibly go wrong?
