The best “Overlander” video I’ve seen on Baja! Well done! Situational awareness and my previous life won’t allow me to go south of the border… I’ll just gather my fly rods and head to the Conejos instead! Be safe!
I can't wait to retire....we bought a home in San Felipe two years ago and love it when we have the chance to go down. The sunrise over the Sea of Cortez is just amazing. I have my inflatable paddleboard and kayak ready to go.
Epic good on all, We got back after 10 glorious days of San Felipe. I was with you on my laptop. Everyone that gets to expierence the soul of Baja is such a personal vibe that can't be beat. Thank God there are still places on this earth to enjoy. Viva Mexico!
It’s hard for me to fathom having a whole beach to yourself. That is a amazing, I would have had a hard time leaving that situation. :) awesome video as well.
You have to get down there man it was amazing! I couldn’t believe it, and it wasn’t the last time. In the next one we had another beach to ourselves, and even found a dead whale! Thanks for watching buddy!
this beach is referred to as shell beach by the locals here... its about 25KM south of San Felipe. You need to be a bit careful during a high tide there as some tidal water will "block" your exit until low tide
This was epic Tyler! So good to see all of you, including Blue 🐕❤️🐾 living your best lives…. We live in NM here so we’re trying to decide on a good place for bringing the kids to some water. Of course I thought CO first, but the Baja beaches just might be a good selling point for my partner after having her watch this! Gracias brother… 😆🤙🙏
Hi Tyler and family! Can you share the location/beach directions you stayed at in San Felipe? My family will be heading down in May. Thank you for any help you can provide.
Hey David, I only share locations with Patrons who have supported me for at least a few months. I found it using Gaia maps if that helps at all. A lot of staring at satellite imagery!
@@IndependenceOverland i understand I actually live here in baja like 4 hours from there every time i go i see a lot of roads that lead to the beach but never take them I always go to Gonzaga bay
I am so pissed! I mean, this is BS! I've been to Baja at least twice a year for the last 9 years. I've been to San Felipe at least once a year for the last 9 years. 5 years ago I spent 2 weeks in Baja driving to Cabo. I have never found a shell/conch anywhere near as big as that and I have never seen a bobcat in Baja.
Ah man that’s crazy! I guess we just got lucky! Did you happen to see what else we found in the next video? It was my favorite of the series. That one really blew me away and I’m not saying it for click bait, it was just a really cool find. If you think shells or bobcats were cool... @@IndependenceOverland The whale? There's an almost complete whale skeleton at a hotel/restaurant in Bahia Los Angeles. I've seen dead seals, dead sea lions, dead sharks, dead dolphins and countless dead fish (some with scales larger than a quarter) but, never a bobcat, alive or dead.

Baja is a special place. Glad it is showing you her beauty

Looking like a great trip so far! Cant wait to see whats next
❤❤❤ Much more docile wave breaks than where I was camping. I loved camping on the beach, but it was soooo damn loud through the night.
Haha yeah the wave noise can be too much if you aren’t shielded a little bit. Those sand dunes we set up behind helped a lot.

Doooo it! Colorado is awesome but the water is pretty much frigid year around! Baja is just incredible! I can’t wait to go back!
Where is this? That scenery looks beautiful and so relaxing 🥰
Hey Jake, this in near San Felipe
Amazing. Where did you cut over before san Felipe¿ Headed there this spring
We crossed in Mexicali.

Where is that beach you guys camped at your first night, after San Felipe? How do you get to it? Is it in I Overlander?
I don’t specifically share places I’ve camped, but I do believe I found it on I Overlander if memory serves.
Where exactly in san Felipe is that beach you drove it looks like there's no one around
Forgive me Carlos, but I won’t share the location across social media or it will never be the same again.

If anyone wants a house close to the beach in San Felipe we have a small 400 square foot home in a gated community for sale.
I'm looking at a lot in Eldorado Ranch.

Oh, I see cats fairly often here in Colorado so for me the whale was the coolest part!
@@IndependenceOverland No, I mean I've never seen a bobcat in Baja. I've seen plenty of bobcats at home.
