Will be working on channeling the nervousness in to something positive for the students...looking forward to getting back in to it tomorrow!

Jimmy Barkan: Master teacher - teaching HOW TO TEACH. One of my favorite things said about you was from a Hot Yoga teacher. Bikram trained and then went to your training a few years after… their comment was that you taught them HOW TO TEACH. ❤

I LOVE this episode so much! Nervousness is Selfishness. I can hear Jason saying something similar in my 1st TT in 2008. This peace of wisdom is invaluable. Thank you🙏 and.....keep it positive. If there's lots of energy in the room when I 1st walk in, I love saying, "it's like a cocktail party in here! Love it! Now, Let's yoga!" And everyone gets ready for class.🙏✨️🙏 It's magic. You don't need to be a drill sargent to command the room. Honey vs vinegar 😉 Thank you Jimmy🙏

Thanks for the video and especially the tip about the repeated of speech. I've been paying attention to some of the instructors and it's really interesting to see how they change the pattern of speech and the effectiveness of it. Hopefully, I've been making a little progress with it as well, see you tomorrow!

Thanks for this video Jimmy, I never thought about nervousness bring selfishness, but of course that’s exactly what it is! I believe awareness can shift the focus of energy back to focus on the students instead of self. I know the feeling, it’s the shift in the moment that I’m working on.
