Chicken What - Japanese people absolutely love Disney so she naturally loves it. My younger daughters name is Sora Kairi (Sora is both a girls and boys name in Japanese)......so KH has always been around.
I see a lot of possibilities with your channel, first i noticed customization items in the background, also your interest in drifting, and the culture of your area. Enjoy the unboxing.
Big Lucciano - thank you, I have a second channel focused on Gundam building. Unfortunately I have been so busy lately to create any content. When I saw this limited edition I thought it was a good idea to go back to my roots. I also do a lot of retro modding / repair which I thought about making videos of.
Nina Breath - thank you, she got a little shy on camera. It is a beautiful looking console. The design is a lot brighter in person then on videos and pictures
Nice video! Since the US is also getting the standard edition (as opposed to the Deluxe in Europe) I'm assuming this probably exactly how ours will be packaged so good to see it beforehand. I can't wait till Tuesday! Btw your daughter is absolutely adorable!
Texas2089 - thank you, I believe it is the same as well. The only way to get the steal book in japan was to order it directly from Squares e-store. I also can’t wait till Tuesday since I don’t like playing RPGs in Japanese. I am hoping that O and X are swappable though since I am not a fan of the US layout. For me using X to jump makes more sense especially since that is the jump button for 90% of games. If not I will use my Cronus Max to swap them.
Dean R English Yeah that’s always been one thing that’s always bothered me about Kingdom Hearts. Hope it finally lets us change it. Guess we’ll find out!
Great video friend, could you answer me why some of the boxes with this limited edition are different? Some appear the logo of PS4 pro and others (like the one you have) do not have it. Is there any reason for this?Great video friend, could you answer me why some of the boxes with this limited edition are different? Question since PS4s are not region locked could you play a Japanese model PlayStation in the United States? Or would the power brick be an issue cuz I know some of the adapters in Japan are different than America by adapters that I'm referring to the power outlet
Japanese Playstations 4 will work flawlessly in the US. The power supply is rated for the slightly higher volts in the US. The power cable uses only two prongs, but they are the same as the US. We just don’t have the grounding pin.
I couldn't make it out, but the copy of the game is the cover holographic like the previous titles? I'm in NA and for KH1,2 even re:chain of memories they were holographic. I just got my deluxe version and PS4 pro bundle but it's not holographic. A bit upset about that
justin smith - I have lived in Japan for the last 12 years and had quite a few Japanese playstations, so the flipped X and O makes so much more sense. It’s the way Sony wanted it to be, X as in cancel and O as in ok. Square was supposed to be the universal map button (since it looks like a map) and triangle for menu (can’t relate to a picture). It also depends on the game too. Some recognize that it’s a Japanese console and flip the button in game and some do not. When switching (I have had US PS4s in the past) it just takes a day to get used to pressing a different button, with the occasional mess up here and there. I is a US PSN account and there is not really any restrictions other then Japanese games that include codes for extras can’t be used. These new PS4s are absolutely silent too, I had a launch PS4 Pro and it was obnoxiously loud.
Also, havr you played the copy that came with the game? I have the Deluxe Bundle Edition also ordered from the SE website so was gonna give this copy to a friend. Does it have english audio/text?
Michael Appleby - no English language. I don’t like playing complex rpgs in Japanese. I don’t totally get everything they are saying. Plus personally I’m not a fan of the Japanese grunt sounds. Maybe cause I have lived in Japan a long time.
VS gaming and atheism - lol, she loves games....however, she is not allowed to play during the week or zombie out on weekends. I have lived in Japan for the last 12 years. She is half Japanese

Unfortunately the themes are tied to the accounts as well. If you make a JP account the theme will only show on that profile on the PS4.
