@@alexnicorescu8972 Hmm difficult I'd say A7II is great for photography and you have fullframe, but video specs are not up to par with A6400. Depends what your planning on shooting but either camera should give you great results! 📸
Obsessed with this POV, which of your presets did you use for most of the images shown here? Keep the Viltrox 85mm POVs coming, so tempted to get one 😍
This was so good! Thank you! I'd love to see a video of your post shoot process from a day like this. I imagine you come home with hundreds of photos. What is your sorting, culling, editing, etc. process like? Cheers mate! 🇨🇦
Thanks mate appreciate it! Could certainly do a video about it, but as an overview, I get them all in Lightroom and do a sweep delete the ones I don't like, then do another sweep to get my final images, for this shoot it left me with about 250 images, which were all edited and exported as a high quality file and then a smaller file that work best for Instagram. Hopefully that helps a bit 🤙🏻
@@CurtisPadley amazing! Thanks so much! This helps for sure! Do you permanently delete the ones you don’t use? I always struggle with that, haha. PS, love your stuff!
@@BobPluss Thanks mate! Glad it helped, I keep some raw files but keep it to a minimum, I have a folder of raw files all labed with dates and location so I know why I haven't deleted them
Curtis these are such great shots. I like taking street shots with my R2 and 85mm 1.8, I have a back up camera, an EM10 MkII with a 70-200 equivalent, but am seriously considering getting the R4 simply for the cropping in factor and selling the Olympus. This video is tipping me sooooooo close to splashing the cash! Great work as always, you have a great eye (and the other ones pretty decent too)
I cant stop watching your videos. I used to take a lot of photos with my old canon 600d in 2015 and I still have my broken 50mm 1.8F here LOL it broke my heart when it suddenly shattered but I got back into photography and yeh I am still a noob but I recently upload some photos on vsco, I take them with my smartphone etc. still good quality! But I want to buy the sony a6400 with the kit lens and sigma 30mm 1.4F. And Thank you a lot for those videos, it really inspired me and motivated me. Also lovely accent and it is very fun to listen and watch your videos. good effort!
Haha I can get trigger happy, but it's how I shoot, maybe i shouldn't as much on stationary subjects but when tracking or following someone always good to capture as many as for me, it is all about capturing the little details. But ones I don't want I delete them so it's all calm 👌🏻glad you like the pics as well! 😁
@@CurtisPadley Get a manual focus lens. You can get some superb ones for low cost. Learn to use that for a few weeks. You have to hold the camera steady and learn to manual focus. Then go back out with the Viltrox and it will seem like a piece of cake to just take one perfect shot. You'll be able to get shots in very poor light that are perfect. I've been doing this for years and now I'm looking at autofocus. The Viltrox lenses look really great.
All those shots look great! How do you find the ISO performance of the R4 in low light? I’m really interested in picking one up, as I need to keep my apsc primes for work, and being able to use crop mode on the R4 makes it a really intriguing “2 cameras in one” for me.
$100-150 wont get you far tbh. The photos will be so low quality that you’ll never use it. If that’s your only budget, you’re better off shooting with your smartphone. My advise: Look for a Fuji X-T1 (maybe $300-450 used) and a zoom lens 18-55mm (maybe $150-200). Don‘t get a DSLR, get a mirrorless like the Fuji I mentioned. Honestly, save up some more money around $600-700. Buy cheap, buy twice.
@@mrk1w135 in that case, you can try asking your uncles if they have any spare cameras and if they'll let you borrow one. I would suggest getting a digital one. Films cameras are cool but developing is cumbersome. Use it for the time you save up for your own camera.
BRO that shot you got of me is amazing! Love it!
Thanks for letting me take it! 🔥
Those pictures are sharper than my hopes and dreams.
beautiful narrow streets and houses. looking so beautiful
Do you feel like the 85mm viltrox for Sony is great I have it on my Nikon zfc and I love it
I’m back I left nikon and got the Sony a7ii & A7Riv and men I can say I’m in love I will be getting this lens real soon great photos
Im a york local myself, currently looking for an 85 for my zve10 and my a7iv 🎉
how about the weather sealing of the lens? cuz i got it and its not properly w/s. did u notice any issue of rain drops in the sensor?
Those motorcycle shots were great!
WOWOWer, pls can you give us info on precisely how many pictures you took on that shoot!! (est. : 1 mill (1 tb
Sooo gonna buy this lens
Love these 85mm POV’s. Keep them up!
Thanks Alex, definitely be doing a lot more POVs with the 85mm 🔥

this makes me regret not going out to shoot in the snow ughhh, great shots man!
I've done the same thing before, I try and never miss a gold opportunity now. Might be some more next week
Thanks mate! 😁
You make ordinarily boring subjects seem interesting 👍🏻
Great video. You photograph buildings just as if you were photographing wildlife 10fps lol. Amazing images, though. :)

Man why spray that much 🤣 raw files on r4 are massive, i love the pix tho but damn all i think about is the files size 🤣

There is another factor with that spraying. You are actually wearing the camera out.

Is it okay to get a6000 + 85mm viltrox will you recommend it? Thank you. Im addicted with your pov. 🔥

Does the lens still work well after that shoot and a few years? I ask because it doesn't have weather sealing.
