I live right in the centre, right by that tuktuk you found in Spinningfields and I guess I should give photography a go as you make the City look awesome. How's the weight of the 24-70 walking around for the day. I'm looking for my first lens on my A7iv. Would you say a 35mm, 50mm or 85mm the best to start off on?
As ever, really fantastic video and photographs. Would be great to see a video of how you go about the process of actually editing your images and selecting/applying your own named pre-set templates to end up with such stunning photographs. Also, that would be a great way to promote your pre-sets, deservedly so.
How come you usually use ISO 200 or 320? I'm just learning. Do you ever use 100? I gather you shoot manual and just increase the shutter speed mainly to get the exposure to 0?
Hey. Is there any chance you could tell me which tram stop/ location you are at, at 11.20 in the video. Heading to Manchester in February and would love to shoot at this spot. Thankyou
Can I ask what mode you use? Are you always in manual? Just because I see your settings are so different on nearly every shot. Trying to learn and would love to go out and do some street/city photography. Thanks.
Hi Curtis It's nice to see you shooting wide open. I love to shoot at the max aperture when out with the Viltrox 75mm f1.2 but was recently questioned as to why I was shooting wide open on the streets because apparently Street photography should be shot at f5.6 or F8 🤔 the guy then went on to say when shooting wide open you can't see the 'Street' 🤦🤣 I'm off to Manchester on Saturday that's how I stumbled across this 3 year old vlog. I have watched a lot more recent stuff from yourself and have been a subscriber for years. I've also featured on the #cpphotos previously
Wish I’d have known you were coming to Manchester, I would have come and said hi, I’m in Manchester 2/3 times a week. You seem to be taking quite a few similar shots to me, especially that Car Park roof. Loved the night shots from the roof, not got any lately as not driving at present and with it not going dark until late it’s a bit of a nightmare getting home as I live 20 miles from Manchester though born and bred in Manchester. Cheers for the shout out too, got a near perfect day at Media City, maybe a tad too bright a day though.
Solid post, Curtis! Travel to other UK venues would be a plus, but my sense is that you can get higher quality compositions be sticking to one city for a while before moving about. Colonnade and masked tram passenger my fav in this series. Trams work best, IMO when showing motion blur of trams themselves - or from low perspective track view, just before tram impacts photographer😁. Those parking decks looked empty enough to be a potential security risk. Suggest separate day/night POVs. How come you don’t display histogram in LCD? Cheers!
Should I travel to more cities around the UK and do more POVs?
Nice city 😊 i will come for a POV some day 💪
Yes! I love watching your POVs.
Get yourself to London - Lets get a POV done!
Thanks @@BobPluss appreciate it mate!🤙🏻
@@MikeChudley Yes mate! Let's gooo!
Awesome video bro. I like how you show the raw then fade to edited image.
Great video! Some awesome shots

Yes I would like to know too. Thanks and a ☺ smile
I am using manual mode, just allows me to keep in complete control of all the settings at any given time
Very nice video Curtis! I hope you're enjoying the new car!

Cool video I live in Manchester you made it look awesome 👌
Great stuff thanks Curtis. Also really appreciated you liking some of my IG posts. Feeling honoured.
Nice work!! But Why do you always use ISO 320?
14:30 She knew what she was doing
Nice Pics mate 🤙🏼🤙🏼
I love the merging from raw to edit. That‘s really cool…how you do it? Stay safe
Thanks mate! Used cross dissolve in Premier Pro, thought it looked pretty sick! 🤙🏻
@@CurtisPadley oh it does 😉
I'm going to Manchester on Saturday can you name top 5 places in Manchester please

As a said on Insta some great images, the video's made me want to get back out on the street.
Thanks! ✌🏻
Good POV and GREAT shots! 🙂👏
Nice pictures mate! Why do you use that hi speed shutter f.e. 1/3200 on static objects? Is there a specific reason?
Regards✌️
Probably to darken the scene, there was some harsh sunlight that day
Great video,, also manchester is a great place 👍new here 🙏

Wonderful video. How do you decide on the spot which shutter and which F value to use
Thanks mate, basically decide on the subject, the framing, the light and the look I'm going for, hope that helps 👍🏻
What wrist strap are you using?
Enjoyed watching that mate some fantastic images 👍
Thanks mate! 👍🏻
12:04 my favourite 🤩.
By the way all are great.❤️
Thanks!
Great video. What wrist strap is that you are using?
Thanks, using the Peak design one
its that piccadilly train station mate
Really nice pov, I like how you edit your pics
Wow, great shots! Does your focus is in manual or auto??
Obviously it will be in auto. Because he is snapping faster.
Auto Focus, hardly ever use manual, hope that helps
how did you add those stars on the photos?
Created a brush on photoshop to add the effect, there are some tutorials on UA-cam you might find helpful 🤙🏻
@@CurtisPadley Thank you so much!
night street pov brother
I noticed that at night you increase ISO and reduced shutter value
Yes it allows more light to enter the camera and make the sensor to more sensative to light, hope that helps
Why are you taking shots in burst ?
Everything in streets happened in a matter of seconds, you don't want to miss the right moment. So, yeah, burst.
Everything happens so quickly, I don't wanna miss the right moment.
@@CurtisPadley don't use hi+ - lowers bitrate and might increase chance of damaging shutter curtain ;)
Hi
Great video, but it was two different deliveroo riders😂
Great spot 😂
Didn't even notice that myself 😂
Why are you shooting in burst ? Just take one single shot. This camera is crazy in autofocus.
Everything in cities can happen so quickly, I don't wanna miss a shot.
