I had so much fun rebuilding the LEGO City! The process of changing the city never gets old, though it can be quite a lot to handle sometimes! How do you all feel about it?
Hee!
Yeah I like messing around moving buildings, though we have way less. Also figuring out how to do the train, through the bending radius is sometimes a pain. I would definitly like to see a metro station, but that is just also because I would love to have a metro line myself. Maybe a Dutch canal house at the docks? At least that is also in the back of my mind for our city.
Really appreciate your thoughts Peter, thanks! Those train tracks do keep us busy, don’t they? I’m with you on the idea of a metro station; it’s something I’ve admired on other channels and would love to tackle eventually. First starting with an above-ground train station seems like the way to go for now, but the dream of a metro is definitely on the list. And adding some charming Dutch canal houses? Couldn’t agree more - they’d add a fantastic touch of the Netherlands to the city. Saw some incredible ones by cpt_urco on insta and at Lego World 2023 (made a video about that convention some time ago, it's on the channel), and I’m itching to incorporate that style somehow into my layout. Imagine a little Amsterdam in Brick City 😍 so many plans, so little time, right? Cheers and happy building!!
@brickcitymatt yeah I already bought a third wooden plate to extend to give us both space to build and keep the train running a bigger circle. The canal House of cpt I saw yes. I want to clean up the water area we have and such a building is high on my list. It's easy to mold into 8studs wide and not so deep. I also want to keep our miniature lighthouse. And like you I may consider such a raised wooden platform. So many ideas....
More room for LEGO is always a good idea 😎 I like the idea of making the buildings less deep - looks good, saves space, and it easier on the budget, right? When I eventually get into custom buildings, I'll definitely keep that in mind! I'm curious about the mini lighthouse, got any pics to share perhaps? I have the lighthouse set still in the backlog and am contemplating to tweak it a bit, so I can use some inspiration 😁👍

Thank you!! 😊
I love remodeling my city so this Video was amazing! I would love to See a public Park in the City
Thanks so much! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I like the idea of a public park, I'm adding it to the list!
Hee Matt!

Hi ✌️very cool City…😊
