Anna , I have Just Been Carousing Your Various Videos, from Van Purchase, to Building It, and Now this Beautiful Cinema photography... I am in Awe , trying to figure out how You did the Drone Photos, but Maybe Editing has a lot to do with it... The Drone seems So High in Altitude, and So Far Out, it is Stunning... And You always Speak so Eloquently, and You're so Funny , that You make Yourself Crack up...!! You are very Thorough , in all that You Do... And Perseverant . Drop the Cracker Barrel Searches, as That doesn't seem to be fruitful... just a waste of Gas, Time & energy.
It Just Makes You More tired out, when You could be pulled over , at the curb, in a Semi- industrial Block, or cozy Neighborhood, just a side Street will do. Rest Stops, 24 Hr. Business Parking Spaces, etc. Stealth Camping is just Blending in, not being Noticed, but Cooking, and Dining in an acceptable spot, a park, or parking lot, then Moving to Pre selected area to Shutdown, and Rest... Once You've had Your Good Sleep, Start Up and Move on... Safe Journey... BillinL.A.

Anna, Not once in this video or situation did I see you break down and cry that things were not going as you expected. It is truly a testament to your fortitude as a person. I'm slowly learning to see the positives in every situation. I think that rainbow was truly fitting for this video; all storms pass and we simply have to look forward to the sunshine. Hi - I'm slightly bemused by the fact that you, an American, are reintroducing me (a native BCer with, admittingly dated, outdoor experience) to my "backyard". So, thank-you. I'm truly jealous, but I have nobody but myself to blame for being detached from the monumental nature I live so close to.
That magnificent elk, Abraham lake and then summitting Windy Point Ridge: it's so satisfying to tag along. Thanks a bunch.
That's an abandoned bulldozer track. BC's full of abandoned equipment, towns, ...
Always with the gourmet food in the impossibly grand natural settings. On the theme of jealously, I'm also very appreciative for my vicarious enjoyment.

I'm very glad you are enjoying our country. On behalf of my fellow Canadians, we love having you here, and welcome you to stay, and explore as long as you can. Perhaps you will apply for a Canadian citizenship, that would be terrific.....lol.
Anna, on another note, I have spent a great deal of time in the forests of British Columbia, and Alberta. I highly encourage you to carry bear spray with you. It's not like the US. Canada is thick with large wildlife. Although more abundant in other areas, they are still quite prevelant in the regions you are currently in. It is highly effectiive with bears, and other wildlife like large cats as well.

11.56: 75 million years ago those metal centipedes roamed the earth! They were vicious, tracking down the hills, laying tracks everywhere! Nobody was safe from these bloodlusty tracks, and the tracking just continued until the Cretaceous period ended with a big boom! :) -Or maybe it's just some old tracks from an excavator. I will go with the first, because it's more exciting :D Anyway: You are a great storyteller, filmmaker and editor. Keep up the good work, Anna :) @forestyforest would be proud :)

Ma'am I have to tell you I'm 53 years old. It took me so long to learn patience and how to go around with a smile on my face even when they was adversity. I have been rich and I have been poor. I have had many things taken from me. And I have has many blessings. In about midlife made a new rule. Kiss, keep it simple stupid. Everyday I wake up it's a new day. I do not even think about yesterday. Unless I made an obligation that I must attend to. And I go to the day with a smile on my face in the knowledge that there's nothing anybody can do to break my spirits. And I have to compliment you on your smile and personality. And you live in your life to the fullest. No matter what adversities. And absolutely seems to come natural to you. Thank you for being such a wonderful being. I am absolutely sure but you are the light in the darkness for so many people.

Lake Abraham is a Man-made lake. It is the headwaters of the Saskatchewan Rivers that branch to become the North Saskatchewan and South Saskatchewan rivers. The lake is basically a reservoir for the cities along it. Namely Edmonton and a few other smaller ones. It's controlled by a damn that changes the water level of the river downstream much to some people's dismay. I wish this oil cooler was the only problem with Penastars

Hi Anna ,on the subject of getting locked out and having an extra key. Do not trust a magnetic box to not fall off after it rusts for a few months. Try to find a nook or "cranny" to tie an extra key on the outside of your van that you can access when locked out. Think high up and out of sight. Where most people would never look. A $2 extra key is worth $100 when you need it. Like 100 miles from nowhere. Tom at the NB-NS border here on the east coast. Drive on.

Watching Anna go through a really stressful (IMO) experience but still smile through it has me thinking I overreact a lot and need to be more like Anna 😅. What amazing cinematography throughout.

What an awesome video Anna! I hope you stick around to see lake Abraham when it’s frozen! If you haven’t seen pictures of that yet, go check it out! It’s not something that you’d want to miss!

You found a worn-out cat track. I'm surprised it's still there. That stuff usually gets hauled off for scrap.
Thanks for the drone shots of the far shore of the lake. We're considering paddling there next summer.

It's the track off a snow machine. Used widely in Canada by parks when the roads are closed. Another great video Anna. Love how you are showing the beauty of my country. Thanks.

Good idea, Slow down!!! There is a lot to see but take time to appreciate where you are. It’s good you are on top of it. Equipment takes a beating and It’s a lot of maintenence to keep moving so much especially in extreme conditions. Great vlog. Be carful out there stay aware.

Anna, I'm happy you were able to find the "Forest" through the trees, and I like your Canada pat 3 video. He tried to stay in his cabin when he built it, but the flies wouldn't leave him alone.
Did you learn the long piece of iron is a bulldozer - excavator track?
I'll be watching for your episodes, keep safe, Greg 🇨🇦
