VR, like sword art online will be a huge part of world economy. Like in-game Currency will probably become a real currency. I can't even begging to imagine how big the industry will be.
Hey! I actually believe it'll be more than an industry- once we hit Type 2 on the Kardashev scale, I think that VR will be the way people live. I talk more about this in VR Exodus video in my channel!
Its already going on with VR worlds being tied to the blockchain. Check out worlds like Cryptovoxels, Somniuum Space and Decentraland. Using etehreum as the currency to buy NFTs and virtual real estate. Can own and rent, etc
I'm doing my part by writing a VR novel. Hopefully, it becomes popular and works as a positive PR for the genre.
That sounds pretty cool. I've been eating up a ton of VR stories lately so I'd certainly like more stuff to get into!

Im looking into game development and vr programming. Ive wanted this for a long long time and really hope full dive is coming soon, sao was and still is a big part of my life.
Do u think u would work on full dive at all?
I honestly believe we will, if we dont that would be really disappointing, but id give a solid 10 - 20 years before we get it. And if I was anyone looking to get full dive id start setting aside money now cause that shit isnt gonna be cheap like in sao.
Haptic suit make a good start to it, especially if you good with unreal engine or unity create your own sao world's 😁👍

I am going to study Law starting this summer and my goal is it to Major in intellectual property and work with a giant VR Business or a Big VR Studio to support the VR industry in legal disputes, because I think that VR will define our future and will create a lot of jobs in that sector. I hope by the time I graduate university there will be a high demand for lawyers.
I'm trying to work with a few companies on how to bring vocational education to VR. Introducing culinary students to a kitchen could be a huge ice breaker.
Sure, it's not the real thing but being able to "hold" a pan, knife, board etc is huge.

What about Psychiatrists? They study how the brain works. Those information are precious
Doctors. We already have a lot of interest and devotion to brain mapping and research of the brain-machine interface, but the next generation of research must be done by another set of devoted medical experts who will make sure that our future of SAO is chugging along. We need more doctors who are devoted to this field.

I'm thinking of becoming a physician and doing research on the side to help advance VR. I'm going to try my best to get there and advance research! I know it might be hard and the path difficult, but I'm willing to give it my all to see Full Dive or at least Full Immersion VR become possible!

I want to be a public school teacher. History. I keep thinking of lessons that could be taught in vr. Unreal engine making historical lessons. But maybe im wrong?
It would certainly be great to see (I think some museums offer these kinds of things). Friend of mine is a history teacher actually, he brought up the same thing when I showed him my Oculus Quest. Here's hoping this option opens up as VR and AR develop over time.
Scared that these things won't come in our lifetime, or will but we will be too old for it.
In the year 2045-2050, high performance AIs will have been invented that have the ability to do 500,000 years of work in only 6 months. Which means age could be reversed by cell repair and the brain will be researched far enough that full dive vr will be possible.
I'm trying to get into the gaming industry. I'm passionate about it but it's such a struggle.
How would a Psychology major work with VR
It's being used to help people through therapy and to study human behavior. Our lives are becoming increasingly more digital. Studying the effects this will have on us, if any, is a valuable pursuit.

I am currently aiming to do maths and physics at university, but I would also like to go into this field. Is there a job that uses physics in this field that isn't engineering?
