I use 7mm rem mag, 165 grain for elk here in Idaho. I love my Howa 7mm. Great all around gun and watch some videos of them hunting in Africa with them.
One of the best ones , SCI guys and gals have used it worldwide , and some leo also. CJ McElroy got his 7mm after many years with .300 Why,and he took even more game with less recoil and wear on him with that . But it was a copy of 7x61,and that one deserve a video also.
Throwing us down some knowledge .That's a good thing to have in my book . I would definitely reserve the 7mm Rem mag for larger game at longer distance . 308 is a Goldie locks round for most North America game IMO. But it's fun to experiment with everything out there.
@@theblindsniper9130 a few weeks ago me and my brothers and dad were moose hunting and i was at a different spot than my dad, and i heard a shot, i thought it was a different hunter but he called me on the two way radio, apparently he saw a big moose and shot but it was dark and he has bad eyes so he missed, we couldn't find it or blood he probably completely missed it
If you are shooting at the point-blank range, then the 7mm mag is not that great. Too fast for the bullet in most factory rounds. This is much better in say 200 yards plus. Great round and works well for most applications.
And i agree a good 06 is the bomb

Don’t let the haters bother you. The stupid comments they make still boost the algorithm. Have a great day.
Absolute facts.

Hey man, love what you do. Also @kevinhart is a whiner. Muh, AR’s do everything better. Lol.
Haha yeah I get plenty of those. Glad you enjoyed!
