Horrible defending those days. It looks too easy to score compared to the modern 21st century football. Sweden were good in those days with semifinals at euro92 and wc94. Denmark finally beat this Germany with 2-0 in the final.
Thomas Haessler was outstanding at euro 92. Lothar Matthaeus was out injured and missed the whole tornament. Then Voeller broke his arm in the opening game and was out for the tornament
