Nope, if you have gear inside the main bag it will hold it up against the back of the bag, never really had any issues with it sliding down to the bottom of the bag. I only ran my bladder in the Hydro sleeve on one hunt last year and didn't seem to notice much of a difference with or without it. -Zack
I believe both use a Micro usb port. If it's a 7+ day hunt I can carry a small battery pack and cord but if they are charged up, both will last at least 7 days
Hey Zack, I have the evo 3300 and a weatherby rifle as well. My question is, do you find it hard to get your rifle off the the quick sling? Mine always seems to catch the bipod. So I end up having to sit the rifle higher so the buckle goes just under the scope bell but it seems to catch there too. Have you had this issue? If you have, how did you fix it?
I mostly use the top side compression strap to keep the top of my gun attached to my pack. If you use the quick sling, try keeping tension on the strap as you pull the gun away from the pack, that can help. If not give us a call at the shop and ask for Andrew, he's probably most knowledgeable on the gun sling.
How do we get one of those custom made glassing pads 😂🤔
Great video, thanks! I began building my SG kit this week. Ordered the dehavilland pants, helio bottoms and helio top
Great to hear! You're going to love all those pieces.
Thanks, Zach. Love all of the SG crew pack dumps-keep ‘me coming!
Thanks Lee!
@@stoneglacier9636 Just got my Chilkoot 15 in...will be trying it out this weekend!
@@Leehiem great purchase! You're going to love it.
Kinda a gear question, how do you like the Leica stuff?
Also where did you find that band for the Apple Watch?
The Leica stuff is pretty exceptional. Would recommend if you can foot the price tag. Zack doesn't run a Apple watch, it's a Nixon watch.
Do you normally put your bladder in the bottom of your pack, and not use the hydro sleeve?

Overall Pack weight?
Didn't have a scale there on that day unfortunately. So i'd hate to make a blind guess. We'll try to give weights on future pack dumps.
How do you recharge your headlamp and Garmin InReach?
