✍🏻𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦:
Urad Dal(उड़द दाल) - 1/2 Bowl
Water(पानी) - 2-3 Spoon
Gram Flour(बेसन) - 1.5 Cup
Salt(नमक) - 1 Spoon
Turmeric Powder(हल्दी पाउडर) - 1/4 Tsp
Carom Seeds(अजवाइन) - 1/2 Spoon
Baking Soda(बेकिंग सोडा) - 1 Pinch
Oil (तेल) - 3 Tbsp
Oil(तेल) - Some
Oil(तेल) - For Frying
For Chat:
Onion(प्याज)
Potato(आलू) - Boiled
Coriander Leaves(धनिया पत्ती)
Green Chili(हरी मिर्च)
Tomato(टमाटर)
Lemon Juice(नींबू का रस)
Sweet Chutney(मीठी चटनी)
Green Chutney(हरी चटनी)
Whisked Curd(फेंटा हुआ दही)
Chat Masala(चाट मसाला)
Pomegranate Seeds(अनार के दाने)
Coriander Leaves(धनिया पत्ती)
Nylon Sev/Namkeen(सेव/नमकीन)
✍🏻𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐄:
For Papad, soak some Urad Dal for half two hours. Put soaked dal into a mixer jar & grind it by adding some Water & make a fine paste. Take big parat/thali, put some Gram Flour, Salt, Turmeric Powder, Carom Seeds, a pinch of Baking Soda & Refined Oil. Bind together to form dough adding Urad Dal Paste gradually. Then apply some oil to the dough. Make a big roll and by using a knife make equal numbers of balls. Roll out each ball on a rolling board with the help of a rolling pin in a circular movement. Dust some Gram Flour or apply some Oil if the papad tends to stick on the rolling board & take out the rolled papad from the rolling board with the help of thread(as shown in the recipe) Repeat with the remaining balls. Take 3-4 papads together & prick them with a fork. Keep the pan for heating & fry the papad in medium-heated Oil. Dry the papad in direct sunlight or under a fan for two hours. When you require a roast direct flame, roast on tawa or deep fry also.
For Papad Chat, keep the fried or roasted Papad on a plate, put some boiled & chopped Potato, Tomato, Onion, Green Chilli, Chat Masala, Raita Boondi, Sweet Chutney, Green Chutney, Whisked Curd, Pomegranate Seeds, Namkeen Sev, Coriander Leaves & crushed Papad. Serve & enjoy Tasty Papad Chat. In this way, Holi Special Besan Papad/Urad Dal Papad will get ready so easily.
TIP:
Stores in airtight containers. It is kept stays good for 6 months at room temperature.
