yeah he leaked that they were planning on a new roadster when the hole ludicrous mode thing was happening saying that they were saving plaid for the next generation roadster
I like the video, I like the car. What I don't like is to hear the same old argument "you don't want heated seats or whatever, because it's powered by the same thing that drives your wheels". That valid for every car! It's just that ICE cars are much less efficient and you don't feel the difference.
90 miles with a compliance car, probably. Don't expect too much from those manufacturers. You're lucky enough if Ford makes an all-electric vehicle that runs for up to 120 miles.
It's 2019, and Ford hasn't come to the party with a long range electric vehicle. Tesla however have got their brilliant Model 3, now available from $35,000.
Remember when Tesla was a small start-up that was grounded to fundamentals, didn't make excuses & had a CEO with a fuse shorter than a millimeter that exploded on Twitter when someone calls them out? What a shame...
Tesla now make a compelling electric car for $35,000 (Standard Model 3), which is a tremendous accomplishment. Pay less attention to Twitter, and more attention to what matters: the actual product.
You can't compare a used Volt in 2016 with a new car from 2010. The Volt didn't even exist in 2010. If you want to play that game, where's the Volt now? The production line has been shut down, you can't buy them any more. Whereas you can buy a $35,000 Tesla Model 3 right now.
Because it is the first long range high performance electric car. In 2010 Lithium Ion batteries were expensive. Also Tesla had to invent all the sophisticated controllers, and they only made 2,450 of them so the R&D investment couldn't be spread across many cars - that is they had no economies of scale.
Really hope Tesla does a new generation Roadster, with all the improvements they made over the years it would be a beast.
+BigHeadClan
Musk confirmed it a while back. Slated for 2019-2020 release if possible.
+Valdric Lim oh really haven't seen anything about that news exciting.
Yea; the main focus of Tesla now is the Model 3. (Which I also placed a reservation deposit for it.)
+Valdric Lim oh nice I think it will be a nice car, I'm not a big fan of how the roof meets the trunk but the rest of the car looks good.

4:37 "This car really goes uhhhhhh" Imao, I don't know why, but I could listen to that over and over again. Should put it in a song.
Beautiful car! Love the orange as well

Why is the 'hydrogen fool cell' the future of personal transportation?
244 miles on a charge in 2010. Just imagine how far you will be able to go in an all electric Ford in, let's say the year 2017.

2017 sounds a bit too soon, but I'm looking forward to the upcoming 2020 Hindsight.

@TheOneNo20 It has its upsides as well as downsides.
now in 2018 don't you need an adapter to charge at a supercharger and an app to find them.
Or can the roadster not supercharge at all?
You cannot supercharge this.
I can't believe that he has popped his collar.
I like Tesla, but can never seem to find one for sell.
That's because most people love them and don't want to sell. Also they only made 2,450 of them, so they're pretty rare.
I want this car but I got one problem, I'm 6 foot 1 and I'm not even 25 yet so I don't think I'll be able to fit in this car 😂
@W J I am 6'3" and not even 24 and doctors say I am going to be 6'5". I would find a way to fit in that bitch. This is the only Tesla I like.
@savagesteve13 exotic? they're laptop batteries...
@sexyboi142 i think its because of r and d

Baby Tesla...
"Our Roadster is called Very Orange. Uhhh yeah."
Tesla Roadster, runs on DC power. Why don't they call it the Edison roadster?
something you would know...
Hmm. My used Chevy Volt cost less than the sport package. Being rich has it's benefits!

why is this car 100k+

Obligatory "where it all began" joke.
