Reading "H is for Hawk" for the 4th time since it first came out. Swiftly bought the book after reading a library copy, not an everyday event. It is as ever the perfect classic extension (if we can have those - yes, please) of TH White's most famous works. This round, having more time, I decided to do some added research of exploring more about, well, everything it includes. It brought me to this wonderful, exotic-plus video. Thank you.
@@GuacamoleyNacho I haven't done any more reading per se about falconry. I just read the review of the book you mentioned, though, and it would be interesting to see the movie perhaps. What I have found though, here on youtube, is a channel called "Falconry and Me". It's very much in the present, very positive, really interesting to watch the trainer, who is a young woman who really loves her birds. And knows a lot about training them. AND she just recently is raising a Goshawk! So I would recommend adding that to your repertoire for sure.
