The GEPRC Mark5 has been a very successful drone, and GEPRC has added new 7" arms to their flagship to turn it into a 7" long range drone.
This video is about my experience building and owning the drone.
Some of the items discussed in this video:
Mark5 3D TPU part for SMA antennas + GPS:

Thank you for being the only review!
Knowing the drones size would really help a review like this. Seeing the 4000mah 6s on it helped. A big question people have about 7 inch drones is the battery size that they will fit. This one specifically because it's hard to tell if it's bigger than the 5 inch version in my opinion.
Thanks for your review of this drone. I appreciate your explanations and use-case scenarios
Thanks
Thanks for the review i m agree with you i dont understand all this long range with GEPRC and now your have a fourth one the mark 4 8inch ...
Yeah. You wonder what are they thinking. 🤔
I hope you can show some footage of this drone bro….the last time you did a review to this one don’t have a footage of actual flight still this time don’t have …. 😢
My friend, unfortunately there are some very strict laws here where I live to publish videos of drones. The videos needs to go through a process of several months to get approved, and many times I can’t wait that long to publish my reviews. Therefore you see I don’t always add flying videos unfortunately.
Thanks for the honest review! Any thoughts between this one x Inflight chimera 7 pro v2? Im in doubt about those 2, but this GEPRc i found in a good promo price!
I think the chimera is more like a real 7”. This one is more a 5” turned into a 7”. Like the body of this is not long enough to host ver large batteries which a chimera will. Then it m not a fan of inflight in general but I think the chimera is good if you make sure your initial configuration is ok.
@@NordFPV wow! thanks dude for the reply!! i've been tried to get some reviews of the speedybee mario 8. but i guess the chimera is the better option overall. Just the price is a little high for me, especially when converting into "reais" (Brazilian money) =D
Why are there no other reviews of this drone on UA-cam four months after release? 🤔
I can’t answer for sure why not, but I will suspect that they released 3 7” drone almost at the same time, and marketing wise they had to focus on the other 2 which were “new” models…
Are you sure you got the proper LHCP Polarization antenna for the v2 from geprc? They sell both rhcp and lhcp.
you made me doubt, but i checked again and yes its a LHCP from GEPRC
I'm using the Geprc M8U on my Cinebot30 and it works perfect. Gets me enough sats within a few seconds even in my house. Normally it gives at least 18-20 sats everytime. Way better than my iflight M10.
Yeah. The GEPRC M8 GPS has been a good GPS for me too. I’ve never got to 20 sats with it, but nothing I can complain about.
Does anyone know if the body of the Mark7 is compatible with the Mark 5X or the Mark 5DC arms? It would awesome if I could swap out arms of I REALLY wanted to.
No bro because mark 7 body dimensions is bigger then Mark5 so you have unstable 5inch frame
But in specifications on GEPRC is Gps is 10
I thought it was M8. They look identical.
Why is geprc bringing out 3 new 7" within 3 months ?
Corocidile75 moz75 and mark7.
At least this one seems lighter that the other two
Such a good question Chris. I asked them about it and didn’t get any good question. I don’t really understand it myself either.
I have this. Building it tomorrow. Also 3 5x, 2 4" qnd 3 wings and my TBS Discovery Pro 15"
Great. Enjoy your build!
Great custom lightweight 6” (very beautiful design), and all of the rest of your builds!
Also great video!
Those Ethix K2 bi-blades are one of my favourite, I fly 6” bi-blades more than 5” especially for flow freestyle.
Happy flying!
Thanks! K2 for freestyle? That’s new for me. What 6” frame are you using?
Also from the footage you put on this video it seems to have loads of vibrations, does this drone have it?
It had very little vibrations. Did you see vibrations in the footage when I’m landing the drone?
Good video man! But you could try to show us more footage from the drone! I am looking for a good 7", i am choosing between this and the MOZ7... any ideas?
Hey. Thanks. I think the Moz7 is more a “real” 7”. This mark5 with 7” arms feels like a bit short for a 7”. If you put a very long battery it won’t fit. I think I’ll chose the Moz7.
The Moz7 is my favorite 7" I've ever owned. You wouldn't regret getting one!
Nice review. Waiting for the antennas test ! My best results are with the Foxeer Lillipop 4+…
Hi Olivier. What other antennas did you tested?
@@NordFPV Stock antenna (not so bad in V2), TrueRC Singularity, TrueRC Core 5.8.
@@NordFPV Wich firmware you have ? I think 32.xx is much better than 33.xx. And what power do you use ? 1200 mW ? 25 or 50Mbit ? Just curious…😉
