I am little confused as the dimensions of white strips should it not be 2" against 1and7/8th ,as you are making it 1/8"th smaller all around the navy cardstock??please correct me if wrong ,3and 3/8th minus 1and1/4th I get 2and 1/8th! as was trying to do as per the instructions!

Hi Ranjani, I no longer have that card, the video is from 2 years ago. I went back and used some scrap to test out the measurements and they worked for me. The white pieces are 5⅜ x 1⅞ and 5¾ x 1⅛
The patterned paper is just a ⅛ smaller so those pieces are 5¾ 1¾ and 5¼ x 1 The white pieces are ⅛ larger than the patterned paper so there is a very tight border around.
