There is this youtube video where a girl watches Eurovision and she got offended by the name Montenegro not knowing it was a country in the first place.
How first of all, king Nikola I was not the first king of Montenegro. The first king of Montenegro was King Mihailo Vojislavljević, he was the King of Duklja. I hate that everyone thinks that the Montenegrin history started after getting freedom from form the Ottomans. It started in the 830’s, when Duklja was established. Then Duklja falls under Serb rule, and then it regains independence, but with another name and another dynasty. The name was Zeta and the new dynasty was the Balšić dynasty. Later on the Crnojević dynasty takes over Zeta, and Zeta falls under Ottoman Rule. Then starts the “modern” history of Montenegro. How second of all, the Ostrog Monastery is a Montenegrin Orthodox Church (Crnogorska Pravoslavna Crkva), but it is currently under control of the Serb Orthodox Church (Srpska Pravolsavna Crkva). P.S. Im the only Montenegrin here who stood up for his country and his history.
What he doesn't mention is that if you ask a serb they'll say they hate the milo Đukanović run government, but if you ask an actual mintenegrin they'll tell you without hesitation that they love milo.
Well he certainly ticked a few of the dictator boxes...You know. like the President for life thing he awarded himself..Not usually seen as a democratic move. You might like to check Crkva Presvetog Srca Isusova in Podgorica. The first time I saw it, it totally blew my mind.
It’s really funny to see a whole country which’s name is the same as my last name
If Niger doesn’t offend them, then Montenegro shouldn’t be a problem.
Now i know why in my language Montenegro is called "Czarnogóra"="Black mountain"
Crna Gora is how we call it in our country. And yes,it is black mountain

The country with the most regal flag.
2:39 Calling Josip Broz Tito a "dictator" is *very* offensive!
Well he certainly ticked a few of the dictator boxes...You know. like the President for life thing he awarded himself..Not usually seen as a democratic move. Saying that the Yugoslav workplace was more democratic than in most other places, East or West. But there is no way you could openly criticise the old man or the Party.
@ShauMapping Dictator, autocrat, murderer, fake personality too. This must be narcisstic injury to you, right?
@zivkovicable He always inspired autocrats and dictators, love his white suit and medals reminded me of Goering!
You should have visited the royal palace
You could mention it who inhabited Podgorica until to the late 19th century
