Oh god, I used to ride that when I lived in the Bay Area. THe bell is right, sound wise, but that's about it. There needs to be hipsters with bicycles in the lower lever of the passenger cars blocking the doorways. Also, if you want a prototypical station, tip a Kleenex Box on its side, paint it with a conderblock pattern, and label it "MTN VIEW". --Cal Train Rider since it was SOuthern Pacific.
I think the flashing ditch lights wasn't really supposed to be a feature. From the flashing pattern it, looks like it's more for the strobe lights. Strobe lights flash from left to right, left to right, and repeat. While ditch lights flash left to right, right to left, and repeat. So it looks like there might have been a bit of a wiring error at the factory.
O my god why haven't MTH put those ditch lights in all there Units it is the most prototypical ones I have seen besides HO I with my CSX ES44AH did that
I'll tell you what When you find a model railroad company that makes an MP36 locomotive in O scale or HO scale, you send me the link and I'll purchase the locomotive.

Thumbs up much enjoyed
Fun fact JPBX 913 is a 2CAT, not a regular gear driven HEP F40PH
califonia has the most nostalgic arsenal of trains
Very Nice Sir Bayarea Caltrain nice F40

Caltrain has 5 regular gear driven HEP F40PH'S, 902,903,907,910, 914. 913 isn't one of them
Man,you got many good train reviews and your probably lucky that you got the Caltrain and the metrolink train sets I wish I had them
And yeah that doesn't sound right horn is wrong but MTH doesn't make good copy's any way and the Unit should have a real high pitch noise to it
This locomotive should sound like a GP40-2B or an SD40 or SD45 for the engine sound file, I'm not sure what locomotive emulates this sound file.
It should sound like a GP40-2B or an SD45 locomotive, I might change the sound file depending on how I feel down the line.
Ok
you ever heard lionel sd40-2 prime movers sound awesome
O my god why haven't MTH put those ditch lights in all there Units it is the most prototypical ones I have seen besides HO I with my CSX ES44AH did that
Caltrain uses different ditch light housings so this is inaccurate.
well just the speed of the Ditch lights is what I meant
