We are Raffles Singers - a chorus of passionate singers based in Singapore, founded when alumni singers of Raffles Chorale, gathered for a reunion concert. Today, our choristers come from a wide range of occupations, from students to teachers to doctors and even professional singers.
Since our inauguration in 2001, Raffles Singers has performed both locally and overseas, and attained top honours in European competitions and festivals. Under the direction of award-winning conductor, Toh Ban Sheng, Raffles Singers continues to be recognised as a premier Singaporean choir that strives to achieve excellence in music-making, and to enthrall audiences with our signature fusion repertoires.

Why call yourselves Raffles Singers? You’re Singaporeans not British. Why the fixation to British colonial self-interests that only serve themselves the British? Much of SG history books on British looked sanitised.
Why not call your great Choir Temasik Singers or Angels, or Singa Vocals, those sound good.
Simply because the choir was started by the alumni of Raffles Institution.
