here are my thoughts on my baby taylor that i've been playing for over 10 years! i know it seems extremely late to be reviewing a guitar that came out over a decade ago, but just in case any of you were wondering what i think about it and whether i would recommend it to you, here's the video. :)

One of the most important things I learned in the beginning was to have my instrument as ready to play as possible, and to have an instrument you just plain like and want to play. You covered that right at the beginning.

Since this video was recommended to me, I’ve started watching you and I’m so so lucky that I found you. You are surely one of the best people in the field of making guitar tutorials and teaching guitar.
I strongly believe that it was great serendipity when I first watched that video of yours back then in April. I was looking for reviews/overviews of Baby Taylor then and you had uploaded that video just a couple of days before I found it. So after watching it I ultimately decided to buy one and today it was delivered to me, finally. It’s so small (it seemed, to me, a little bit bigger in photos and on videos though but it’s soo cute and as you said it looks actually sturdy) and its sound is so beautiful.😻
I’ve played several guitars and definitely this one is way easier to play even in comparison with a classical one, to me.
I’m so happy that now we have basically the same guitars (mine is an electro-acoustic one though).
Also congratulations on your recent guitar purchase too.
I’m looking forward to seeing your new projects and videos.

I have been dreaming of this guitar for a very long time but I won’t be able to get it because here in my country, it’s quiet expensive and I also can’t save up much money😢

I have the Little Martin LX1 and the D Jr-10e StreetMaster, so I'm not a fan of a Baby Taylor but I'm a subscriber cuz I like your video a lot. I also know you have two Martin guitars. And you always give a good reviews with products.
I play a 3/4 size guitar too because I’m 4’10” and have child sized hands 🤦🏻♀️I wanted a baby Taylor guitar but I ended up getting a Yamaha instead

I have been thinking about getting this guitar for years, because I loved Taylor Swift, but it is also quite expensive so I've always shied away. Plus I'd have no space to store it properly at this point... but perhaps one day I might still get it :)
blackrose538 it is more on the expensive side, but if you plan to keep up with guitar for longer than a few months, I would say that it’s totally worth it! Mine is 10 years old and still sounds beautiful 🎸🎶 Thanks for watching though!
@@for3v3rfaithful haha, well yes, I know that good quality guitars are a little bit more expensive, but it is worth it in the end. I've been playing guitar for almost 10 years now and I've had my Tanglewood guitar for maybe 6 or 7 years now, I'm not sure. But it was worth it. :) maybe I will treat myself to it one day :)

I played on one of these for a very long time and it was so good to me. I just did a guitar with my Taylor 214ce-cf - it is so natural and easy to play. I demo it in the Taylor "Spaces" Series episode on my page - feel free to listen and share your thoughts on the sound.

I used to have a Baby Taylor, don't get me wrong it's a nice guitar & it sounds good but then I tried a Little Martin & ended up liking it better
it sounded & feels more solid so I ended up selling my Taylor...it's just a personal opinion though & they are both great guitars...stay safe;
Taylor offers it in a "Left Handers" model! Not a lot of market out there for lefty's. Picked one up for my niece, the same Taylor Swift model. Unfortunately, it's collecting dust. Maybe your
video will inspire her to play.

Hi! I juat wanted to know how about the maintenance of your cutie baby guitar? I am praying to have one, soon, my ever first guitar. ☺️
Maintenance is the same as any other guitar - you have to keep it clean, change the strings, watch the humidity, and store it safely. 🤗 But I love my baby Taylor and can't believe I've had it for so long!! 😱 I'm excited for you to get your first guitar! 😍

Hi I want to ask for beginner which one can you recommend? Cordoba or taylor? 5’2 woman with small hands. Loves nylon strings too. What does baby taylor strings comes with?
The baby Taylor is a steel string acoustic guitar, so if you love the feel of nylon strings, I'd stick with the Cordoba. 👍 But the baby Taylor is also a bit easier to play because of its size and in my opinion, more versatile as well. 🤗 Hope this helps!
Thanks for your videos.. I have a normal sized Yamaha guitar, but I feel do not get much of a sound when I do finger picking..any suggestions
P J hmm when was the last time you changed the strings? I know when mine start to get old, they sound quieter because they don’t ring out as much. Or maybe your fingers aren’t used to picking and aren’t strong enough yet? But I think it probably would have to do with the strings.
Very nice. Thanks for the demo. I prefer the deeper tone of Martin's myself, I have the Dreadnought Jr for my travel guitar. Can't go wrong with a Taylor though for sure, wonderfully built guitars.
Joe M you know what’s funny is after filming and putting together the demo for this video, I remembered why I wanted the Martin in the first place! It’s been a long time since I played it but as soon as I heard the difference in post, I was like wow that sounds beautiful! For certain songs, I think it would be better suited than my baby Taylor. When it comes to campsite playing or anything outdoors you can't beat the bright, loud resonance of a baby Taylor though. I bought this n was very dissaponted. The headstock started developing ugly discolouration within months. And since I notified the seller after their 1 year warranty they did nothing.

Yes, it's as loud as many of my full-size guitars, but with a slightly brighter tone. 👍
