I remember the great Frank Frederick so well here in south Africa. About 1985, he was a skinny kid, fastest junior high schooler in south Africa. Then at SA champs, he had an off day, only came in 4th or 5th. Went off to America, built a good physique, became one of the greats.

It was always a delight to see Fredericks running because he had such a beautiful running style.

1996, I was 6 years old,... when Frank Fredericks used to run, the whole neighborhood would be glued to their television 📺... WATCHING THEIR HERO.... just as we do to Mboma, but now for her is both TV 📺 and smartphone 📱 (Facebook/UA-cam)...

"Michael is not the type of runner who can run with someone next to him." OUCH!!! LOL. I love Michael, but honestly, Frankie is right. Michael often crumbled when he felt pressure.
It's amazing that sprinters can tell they're won even if they're only ahead by a bit.

You should see how much smack he was talking against Donovan Bailey for the fastest man race in 97...over 150m dude was gonna get destroyed badly and faked an injury at the 100m mark
