Their website is ridiculous. Don't hide the prices!!! You have to fill out an entire form just someone to call you for a price?? Give me a break. I'll never purchase anything from this company.
One person could almost live in that full time. I'd love to see this with double the solar, battery, and inverter power. Add an induction cooktop and a convection microwave and the only limit is the water tanks.
I agree, seems like there's plenty of room for more solar on the roof. Also, I wish it was pre-wired(extra outside ports) for additional solar panels to be deployed while parked in the shade. Though I would probably opt for a 12v lithium battery or 2, with upwards of atleast 150-200 amp hrs, I wish during the walkthrough PJ let us know how many amp hrs those two 6v batteries have. Overall great review and never disappointed with PJ's knowledge and explanations. Thankyou
How does one even choose?! 1st I loved the Little Guy Max. Now I love the Tab400 Solo! I will get choice anxiety/fatigue before it is all said and done.
Morning Hun... oh yes, me too !!! I Love this, want to make it my new home !!! Love everything about it !! The color is for me...just live it !!! Need to take the plunge !!! Devina rely considering !!!
This is perfect for two people. Don't know why people are saying perfect for one. My husband and I aren't looking further. The TAB 400 is what we want.
That word "Solo" may be skewing the thoughts people are having. Heads up, nüCamp is discontinuing production of the "Solo" model of the T@B 400 at the end of the 2021 model year. So, you'll want to contact a dealership soon if this setup is what you're hoping for.
Hopefully, with the discontinuation of the "solo" option at the end of the year, there will be a new option for the single traveler in the newer tab 400. I really like the 320 s, for a solo traveler, but not being able to stand up in it fully at 5'11" concerns me. Thankyou, I love the products you're making.
TVs aren’t needed anymore. I just use my smartphone or tablet. I’d like s wifi booster actually. Or a steel panel there that i can just attach small utensils
I don't think you missed a thing PJ. Great job! The solo floor plan has me officially SOLD! I'm buyin' one. (Now... where to find 37 grand. Small hurtle. ;))
I just ordered my Tab solo last month with expected delivery in March! I’ve rented large motor homes in the past and the dinette in both versions of the 400 I feel have more knee space for two adults than in large RVs.
Nice unit . a little over priced but looks great and well made . It needs a standard size queen bed, some how some way . No Qn bed, no sale . Its a nice unit with that exception .
I wish nuCamp would consider a sink design in the kitchen area with a long neck faucet and cutting board over the sink. I hate the sink faucet in the 400 model.
once again a great review. I would like to know the effectiveness of the boondock additions for the axel and off-road use. I think it would be neat to have the option of cassette toilet and lithium battery prep. This is looking better all the time.’
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THIS UNIT WITH SWIVEL RECLINERS AND SMALL TABLE INSTEAD OF DINETTE. TWIN BED, TV IN PERFECT SPOT FOR VIEWING WITHOUT CRINKING YOUR NECK OR BACK
This is my Dream trailer. I’d love to add more storage options on the padded surface next to the bed, maybe another drawer and a drawer below as well. The only way they could make this better is built in wifi
TV on wall above bed, or better yet no TV. I can watch the news and watch movies on my tablet. Add a cassette toilet, which would allow an increase in fresh and gray water capacities. I’d buy it.
I like your commentary style, there are no superfluous / meaningless/ repetitive adjectives. Is a microwave available? Also, I would rather have a bar instead of a hanger for clothes. Both of these features are available in the more expensive models l, I believe.
Saw nuCamp is considering the cassette toilet. It's mandatory for a long trip with kids avoiding public restrooms and nasty dump stations. Also Dry camping at Walmart, on BLM land, in my driveway or on street for guests; then there's mooch-docking at a friend's home, on beach campgrounds where you can empty in a portable outhouse. Cassettes also have their own water so you don't waste scarce freshwater. Overland you could dig a trench and dump cassette. I'd pay extra for it. I'll be on long tours in CA and its necessary to keep me legal and a good citizen. Note: gas stations are closing their restrooms and fast food are drive-through only and don't open their bathrooms. You eliminate the black tank and plumbing and gain space for something LIKE ADD A BIGGER FRESH WATER TANK. Greywater tank plumbing is simpler and could have a hose bib to run a hose away from the trailer or fill a bucket to dump away from the trailer or recycle as supply water for the cassette toilette. It's an opportunity to really make the T@B 400 safer, more healthy, more efficient and more environmentally friendly.
Always said NEVER to a wet bath BUT this one is growing on me. I was wondering if you can put a hitch on the back end so you can install one of those small shallow carriers for bikes, perhaps a small portable dometic freezer or a small scooter so popular today. I want to pull with a vehicle smaller SUV but do wonder if it handles will with only 3500 pull load which is the only pulling option for one model of the Rav4 out this year but we love the smaller cars.
Wish the companies that make these RV's would talk to people that actually are interested in buying them. A one-way 12 volt fridge? Really? How about something that would also run on propane. If you're boon docking you need at least two options, preferably 3.
For $30 K you should add more solar and lithium batteries your not going to be able to run the air conditioner for long periods. Also it should come with an awning. I know someone who has this and the drawers open during travel they had to add heavy duty latches and for mold and mildew under your mattress they should throw in the Froli Sleep System. All these should be standard not an upgrade for that price. After paying $30K your going to have to add for solar for Boon Docking cha ching cha ching.....
I you want to run an A/C from batteries you should be looking at lithium Travatos. This is a teardrop trailer. There's NO room for the solar and batteries you'd need for that.
May I just say that the one bottom cabinet that was shelves instead of drawers will be hard to use for people with bad backs or knees. I'd prefer all drawers, no shelves on the bottom.
You did a 100% perfect job...this is the best vidéo I have seen...love the way you explain stuff and take your time to make shure we understand everything...Gotta tell you I am sold on the tab 400...was just wondering if my RAM 1500 classic v6 is the best vehicule to tow this nuCamp ???
DAMN! I only counted four Awwright's duing the interior tour (didn't stick around for the exterior). Makes PJ's reviews better, but ruins the drinking game!
Would had actually preferred if the "sleeping area" and the "sitting area" were one place and allowed seating for at least four. This would be perfect for someone who just wants to "live alone" and doesn't have many visitors.
So is that Isotherm fridge a compressor or an absorption type ? (compressor I hope). And is the inverter a pure sine wave type ? Also, where do you store your sewer hose ? Or better yet, just offer a cassette toilet. Thanks for the review. I like P.J.'s style, and Roundrock is a favorite place of mine, as I was born & raised in Austin...
Hi PJ. I noticed that the base Tab400 can be had with either a 2-way or 3-way fridge. The Solo comes only with a 12V option? Isn't that bad for boondocking to not have another option to cool it down? I presume the fridge cannot be run continually? If so, would the solar panels recharge the batteries?
Storage is a little more limited with this layout, most of it is in the upper Storage cubbies through the trailer. There has to be some great creative ways people have maximized the space. Maybe they will share some ideas???
Hi, love your channel and am wanting to purchase a tab 400. Can you tell me what to expect the fee to be for the document and prep of the tab 400 boondock with 3 way fridge and microwave. I’m just trying budget for it.
Don't trust anyone that sells new rvs or trailers. Tainted by RoadTrek, sorry. Bed too short. Agree re swivel chairs on solo. Never will trust the so called "off grid" concept, especially with "All Day" (alde) to understand heating system. Must you pinch a hidden glycol line to bleed air that occurs? Whats the tongue weight?
Would have loved to have seen what the shower curtain hooks & surround looks like?? Had to give thumbs down bc of that even tho I’m sure it’s a lovely trailer!!! Maybe a younger person would have should the bathroom properly!!!👎

PJ, I really do love your walk-through videos. I find them very thorough and informative.
I agree. PJ is the best.
One person could almost live in that full time. I'd love to see this with double the solar, battery, and inverter power. Add an induction cooktop and a convection microwave and the only limit is the water tanks.
Thanks for the feedback, Brad! We'll pass it along to our design team!
I could live in this full time for sure and work! I teach English online globally!
And I agree with more solar!!!!!

Such a beautiful trailer! Perfect for a single person!
We're glad to hear you like it!
She's my favorite reviewer too.
I love this trailer but would love a cassette toilet like they did on the 320.
Thanks for the feedback! We're thinking about implementing the cassette toilet for future models!
I completely agree! Cassette toilets expand your dump options exponentially. I love these trailers.
Buck0 Seven: "dump options." Love the pun! I do agree about a cassette toilet. That's a deal-breaker for me.
cassette toilet option would be nice, with a spare attached to the front storage.
TAB 320 BOONDOCK NICE WITH CASSETTE TOILET!❤
How does one even choose?! 1st I loved the Little Guy Max. Now I love the Tab400 Solo! I will get choice anxiety/fatigue before it is all said and done.
Lol
@Kellie Thorne - You will want to get the Tab400 because we can't cram all our stuff into the Little Guy Max!
@@chrispayne750 That's weird, because it looked like the Max had more storage to me!
Same here. I wish a LGMax with a Tab400 bathroom
I did the research, I’m only stuck on two way or three way fridge in my future 400. The max has more storage but I love the quality build
Your reviews of these are my favorite. Never going to buy one, but still. 😂

There’s no way to fit it on this layout but if they made it just a few feet longer... a queen bed would be awesome!
Nice trailer but why would they put the tv beside the cooktop. Grease and heat would destroy it in months.
Right stupid Thing to do
It is movable so you can change its placement. We also appreciate the feedback!
@@nucamprv Can you opt out of the TV?
It's not a common thing we see, but it can be done. You can get that all sorted out with your dealer.
From what I observed, if you do move the TV away from the stovetop to cook, then it is blocking the fridge door Obama also used when cooking LOL🤦♀️
Needs a winter option package with heated fresh, grey and black water tanks.
