- Sinawali means to weave. These techniques mean we are weaving our hands. In this video, I show the single-weave and double-weave techniques. Then, how to transition between the two. Practice these essential double stick techniques as they are foundation movements even in the empty hands of Kali, Filipino Martial Arts.

Great video, please more of these drills for sticks of all lengths.
Thanks! Yes, more drills coming. Also, be sure to checkout the over 1,000 previous videos here on my channel 🙏🏼👍🏼
Careful. One day you'll wake-up only to find Biscuit training with his own pair of Kali Sticks. 😄
Loved this video. Thanks to you all at Kali Center for the years of training. 💛💯
This is basically what I was doing earlier this morning! But mixing it up with a bunch of other moves, spinning around and stuff.
Support from Italy Bró!!!!very good!
Merry Christmas Paul and Happy New Year Thanks for theonfo
Thanks Thomas! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Great instruction! Hi Biscuit! Merry Christmas!
Hello Biscuit, Did Master Sensei Give you Good treat? Thank you 🙏 as always for your diligence in teaching, Domo Arrigato🔥🙏🎁🙏🔥
Im training Illustrismo kalis, but i love your videos because even though what im learning is more direct and practical, i like learning the beautiful movements in in other systems. I have been training goju ryu for most of my life along with other OMA/JMA arts, but im obsessed with FMA the past 2 years and it has aided my goju in ways that im finding excellent
Thank you instructor.
Good stuff. One thing I've learned teaching is that people get caught up learning the hand movements and don't learn the footwork and body mechanics at the same time. This leads to a major plateau and often discourages the student when they test their skills stickboxing. More focus on the synchronized V and X footwork integration with the movements will reap greater in the long run, imo.
Ironically, Tai Chi and Wing Chun Mook Jong exercises can do wonders for integrating core body mechanics.
Yes! Absolutely, this is whether we focus on inside our online school, the totality of skill development. 👍🏼
@@kalicenter Really good stuff!
I have owned a pair of escrima sticks since I was 25, 44 now…and I have yet to really learn them.
It is awesome you make these videos.
Have you met Dan Inosanto?
Thank you Paul for your dedication. I would love to see an application of 'tail end' of espada y daga someday. Peace on earth and goodwill to all kali students all over the world. Amen.
Hi B!!!❤ Thank you!!!❤❤❤❤
🐯👍🏼
i would love to see that with lighsabres.
Great drills! Merry Christmas Paul, hope you have a wonderful weekend! 🙏
Merry Christmas Guro Paul!
Love your videos 👍🏻😊. And nice cat 👍🏻😁..
I used to do that everyday back in college days
Nice! Repetition is the key to success 👍🏼
Yellow tigers are the best, hello bisket,Igor Smernov often has his on camera behind him.
Merry Xmas! :)
Thank you 🙏🏼 Merry Christmas 🎄
I learnt the double weave from open chamber a year ago from your channel. I got it quite easily because I used to use double nunchucks which I gave up completely because escrima sticks are a much better weapon. I just wanted to ask is I made my own eskrima sticks out of ash and I think they're a bit heavy wen I'm doing the broken strikes if I'm not hitting an object... What are the best weight sticks for training as I think ratan is alot lighter and maybe easier on the tendons doing the broken strikes against no object.
Hi Bizkit! 🥰
Try this with 5 lb dumbbells btw for an incredible arm workout
3:01 i think that is referred to as "Redonda"
Yes. Exact same drill. Different teachers may use different terminology for teaching communication. 👍🏼
HELLO BISCUIT(legend)!
Hello Paul, Merry Crimbo. I’m not getting a response to my emails. All I want to know is how to switch my Kali classes on gumroad to swol. Do I need a new login details? Is it possible you could send a link please?
Hi Dominic, weird, I haven’t seen any emails come in from you? Are you sending them via the email form at KaliCenter.com? To make the switch just cancel your Gumroad subscription and then go to www.kalicenter.com/ and click “Online School” in the main menu. That will bring you to the new platform. Follow the sign up steps from there. Thanks
Hey Biscuit, I say hi bro 👊🏻

I did a comment about Biscuit...where did it go?
Not sure? Sometimes it takes a bit for comments to show up on UA-cam.
