Thanks for your service 🇺🇸, and videos 🌟
Well you are certainly welcome Todd!! I am not a very good UA-camr, but I am trying 🙂
@@JamesBoren I love your content. Your vids and your persona are refreshing and lovely ❤ your content is wonderful, because you are You! Thank you!
@@sb-tb1oh I wish to THANK you for the comments..!! I just try my best > 🙂
@@sb-tb1oh I thank you so very much. I need all the worship I can get .....LOL!! Just kidding > 🙂
Wish you would’ve talked more about safe hiking in bear country instead of trying to scare people about being in bear country. Al thought, the fact that your paranoia about going into bear country might mean that I see fewer out-of-stater’s when I’m hiking in those places, so maybe a thanks is in order?!🤔
Hello Scott. My intentions are not to scare people but rather raise awareness concerning these dangerous animals. I surely THANK you for watching the video however > 🙂
I just got back from Carbella/Tom Miner Basin there in the Paradise Valley. Oh boy the house i stayed at off of Yellowstone Trail Rd should have told the story. The road to the driveway was called Grizzly Meadow Rd. The house I stay in hasn't had anybody there in over a year. The ground around the house was a killing field for the Grizzly! The bones and remains i found was incredible Elk,Deer, no Antelope they are pretty slick! So If You find Yourself in the Valley take the Yellowstone Trail Rd to where the Carbella bridge got flooded out. It is about a 5 mile dirt road drive but subject to see BEARS Oh Yes!!!!!
Hello Pete. YES I know precisely what area you are referring to. That Tom Miner Basin is a hotbed of Grizzly Bear activity. THANKS for watching this video and for commenting > 🙂
More on grizzly bears please
Howdy there. I published another Grizzly Bear video today. THANKS for the interest > 🙂
@@JamesBoren thank you so much
@@ExploringinAmerica You are quite welcome. I have actually published quite a few videos concerning grizzly bears > 🙂

Sorry to hear about the grizzly attack. Terrible. My Family is from Livingston and my Uncles and cousins ( the Teccas) would talk about hunting, fishing and grizzlies. Was this fella from Montana? So many ppl move to Montana and just don’t know how to keep safe. I’m in Illinois but because of all the stories years ago I’m to scared to venture off into the mountains.
Thanks for ur service, Hubby and I love ur stories, and have watched you for a long time. So happy you left the comments on.
Hello there Madeline. Well I sure don't want to scare people away from visiting Montana. However I just want folks to be "Bear Aware" so to speak. I created several other videos about this fellow's grizzly bear encounter. He was a local man and very well liked. THANKS for your nice comments and here is the family's Go Fund Me account. You can read more about this situation by clicking this link: gofund.me/c39af36f
@@JamesBoren we still visit. I still have cousins in Livingston. My Mom was the last of 14 children born there in Livingston. However when the railroad went out my family all scattered. With that big of family I had many cousins. We love Livingston. You are lucky to live there.
@@madie72451 Well it's a small world Madeline. My wife knows some members of the Tecca family pretty well. Jo and Jane. Yeah I like Livingston okay BUT I don't really like the high winds that we get here. Oh well and THANKS once again for commenting 🙂
Hello! I'm so grateful for your content about Grizzlies! Question here, what is the range area of a Grizzly bear? How far do they roam?? 😳 I love to hike, but I'm from Illinois and we don't have bears 😬
Grizzly approx 50 square miles...Black bear approx ten square miles...depends on availability of food...in a dry season the bears need to travel further due to poor berry crops.
I shall agree with @MTwoodsrunner. His comments are about right. THANKS for commenting 🙂
@@MTwoodsrunner THANKS for the comments..!! I would say that you are correct. Personally, I don't worry about how far Grizzly Bears roam. I just worry about how fast I can get out of their way 🙂
@@JamesBoren Thank you both for your replies and information! Love and Light to you both!
@@sb-tb1oh 😄
I’m an avid hiker in black bear country and never go into the woods without my sidearm, if I lived in grizzly country I might not go outside without it 😂
Hello Toasty!! I hear ya. Personally, I pack a Glock 20 which is a 10mm Auto. I carry three magazines for a total of 46 rounds. In Montana here, I never worry about Black Bears but Grizzly Bears are a whole different matter. THANKS for the comments. Much appreciated 🙂
@@JamesBoren that’s a fine weapon, I follow a lot of Alaskan channels and many of them carry the same. I carry a 9mm in black bear country but if I ever make it out to grizzly land I will be sure to upgrade!
@@RunD.Ones1s I have been an advocate of the 10mm Auto ever since it was commercially available in the mid 1980's. THANKS for the comments 🙂
@@JamesBoren NP thanks for the great videos!
@@RunD.Ones1s 🙂
How big do brown bears get in Montana ?
Howdy there Greg! Well the biggest bears that we have here in Montana is what they call "Silver Tip Grizzlies", not brown bears. Brown Bears are a species that mostly live in Alaska and so forth. THANKS for the question 🙂
@@JamesBoren Grizzly Bears are Brown Bears
@@twostop6895 👍
@@JamesBoren you think Montana is gonna screw up their delisting application? Idaho was already told to pound sand, Wyoming and Montana is being considered but Montana is making bad headlines recently that might compromise their delisting
@@twostop6895 I have researched this subject long enough to make a fair assessment. THANKS for watching and commenting > 🙂
