Hi Ariel, great live stream. I wanted to ask how do you track which keywords brings in the most downloads to help improve the organic or paid traffic ? Also which keywords don’t work at all to try new keywords.
I look at positions and popularity scores for organic and keep the higher ones. For paid you can see per keyword performance on Apple’s side (and in the future in Appfigures as well)
Hi Ariel, Thanks for the live session-it was super insightful! I asked this during the live: I have a question regarding the use of multiple localizations for the US App Store. In the main localization (US), I’ve used my primary keyword “Conversion calculator,” and in the Chinese localization, I’ve included “Convert units.” However, I feel like my app should rank higher for the latter keyword. I’ve ensured there’s no repetition between the title and subtitle, and I’ve avoided any major ASO mistakes like keyword stuffing or duplication. Do you know if extended localizations (like the Chinese one in this case) are deprioritized or penalized for ranking in the US App Store?
Follow up: My app has more than 200 ratings. 1st app has convert units on the subtitle but more ratings. so fair enough. 2nd app has only 20 ratings 3rd app has 50 ratings and the keyword on the subtitle. 4th app has 200 rating but the keyword is split between title and subtitle and repeating. and 5th is mine doing everything perfectly 😂. Any clues, why I rank so "low"?
Thanks to everyone who made it to the live stream and congratulations to @deanh4357 and @yigitylmaz336 who won the giveaway! Please reach out to us via chat on our website - we just need some info to get you your prizes.
