Mam 3rd nerve palsy due to DM is unilateral or bilateral? Is it possible that if some person got 1 eye involved and cure then after some month the other eye is also get affected?
It is because the parasympathrtic fibres run on the outer surface of the 3rd nerve along with its vasculature....so in case of aneurysm of PCOM u got a dilated pupil...where as in DM the periphery is spared.
