  • This all-in-one system was under $50 and allowed us to install a complete mister and drip system down our 25' long raised bed...with plenty of leftovers for another raised bed irrigation drip system. We are very pleased with the install and performance.
    We have installed Rain Bird brand systems in several of our other gardens. They were pretty pricey and don't seem any different than this system (As far as functionality).
    Here is the link to the irrigation system that we installed*:

    Thank you for the video. I am looking at the systems on amazon for my gardens this upcoming summer. Do not want to hand water anymore 😢. It does look fairly easy and for the cost it should actually save me money on my water bill too!

    Very nice purchase. We should have gone the Amazon way when we did our irrigation system.

      Thank you! I was surprisingly impressed with this $50 purchase. I have always purchased Rainbird for my garden beds over the last 20 years. However, for this price I was very impressed... Great alternative if you want to save money 😉

    Thanks for the video, I did have a question about the distance the different nozzles cover. I am thinking about buying this but am trying to figure out how many nozzles I will need for each of my 4ft x 4ft beds.

      Hi Stacie. Thanks for watching the video. This is a complete set and has everything that you need to water your plants. The nozzles can reach a pretty wide area, depending on the amount of water that you allow to run through them. You can open and close the nozzles to increase or decrease the water / range of each nozzle. I hope that this information helps👍

      Hi! I’m sorry to hear that. This company might not ship to India. Usually Amazon will offer an alternative option to purchase. I hope that you find something that works for you 👍.

    did you have any problems with the large black hose? mine burst after 3 minutes. I have normal water pressure at my house.

      Hi. Thank you for watching....and yes...we had a part of the hose spring a leak after a week of running it. I just assumed that it was a factory flaw... Sounds like it could actually be a flaw in the hose quality since you had the same experience. I ended up cutting that section and putting a coupler there so that I could still use the hose. It's working fine now without any issues. For the money, I think the system is great! However, I think they are lacking when it comes to the quality of the trunk line hose.

    Did you use more than the 26' of the 1/2 inch tubing? We are having issues with water not getting to our last box which is probably at the end of 50' of tubing.
    Also had an issue with the 1/2 inch hose as it was blowing apart every time the water was turned out. Ended up having to buy clamps.

      We ran 25’ only. Maybe try adjusting /reducing the amount of water that comes out of the mister heads and see if that will allow enough water to the end of the tubing, which might cause enough water pressure to force water to the end of the tube. 👍

      @@YouCanDoIt2 Thanks. Yeah we have quite a few heads. How long did the 1/2 inch tube last you before you had to replace it? I fear it will blow apart while we are away!! My husband is already losing his mind setting this up! lol

      @@karendancheck6335 The end of the hose blew out and we had to repair it. We used another set on the other side of the garden house. We only used the heads and the small water line. But, we ended up using a commercial 1/2” water line as the main trunk line. It was still less expensive to buy the set from Amazon and then purchase the commercial water line, then to buy the pieces individually.

    How’s this holding up?

    • @YouCanDoIt2
      @YouCanDoIt2  9 місяців тому +5

      That is a great question!! Let's just say that the spray heads, connectors and small tubing are all great ...BUT, the main tubing / trunkline is garbage!! I ended up having to buy black poly pipe from Home Depot so that I could replace the main trunk line of this kit. I was able to reuse all of the parts...which was nice. I would still say that it was worth the price because everything else would have amounted to well over $50 if I were to buy all of those parts individually. However, I would never use the main trunk line as it was garbage and could not hold up to the pressure. Hope this information helps 👍

    Spent 4 hours setting up an Amazon kit, 1/4 inch pipe and used 49 drippers, we have high water pressure yet the kit only let water travel to the first 13 plants, the rest were dry, disappointing so will have to try a 1/2 inch kit next to allow the water to actually reach my plants.

    • @YouCanDoIt2
      @YouCanDoIt2  2 місяці тому +2

      Just checking, did you make sure that the drippers were in the open position? That sounds like a silly question, but they usually come in the closed position and you have to untwist them in order to open them.

    • @shanmukhasreenivas1
      @shanmukhasreenivas1 2 місяці тому +1

      Also, did you form a closed circuit by having both ends of the pipe be connected to the water outlet directly?

    • @YouCanDoIt2
      @YouCanDoIt2  2 місяці тому +1

      @@shanmukhasreenivas1Hi. Do you mean the black hose that all the drippers connect to? If so, you cap the end of that hose with the cap that is included in the kit. I hope that this helps.
