I really got a lot out of this lesson. Liked how you demonstrated the licks by showing the artist interpretation and then breaking it down for us. Thanks Bluesbastard!
I really enjoyed this lesson - I've not really listened to much JB - but its remarkable that there are quite a lot of Steve Lukather moves in these phrases with that extra half step voiced on the bend (and on the last lick with the repicked note), then that half step bend up from the 9th to rehit the target note - and that ascending line with the pedal tone. I'll check out some more of your videos!
@@spodey8484 great analysis, you are absolutely right about that. and thank you very much for your kind words, hope you enjoy some other videos of mine too. cheers tom
This is a great video! I’m pretty new at this so it’s still a real challenge for me, but the format of your videos is great. Your explanation is well paced even for a new guy. I’ve subscribed and will continue to look for your content. We’ll done!
@@TomMarcozzi I absolutely will! Great channel! Great lessons! Well put together! Really easy to watch! Just what us guitarists look for! Love the Bonamassa licks! Keep them coming buddy! 🙏

I played this solo at least 43,000 times! Lol... I can absolutely attest you have nailed it big time. Tone is also great and most importantly very didactic. I wonder how you got that tone? What amp and pedals are u using?
well, every content creator tries to get as much views as possible. and i do hold my promise, you can learn 5 JB licks with this clip. so whats the matter?
Well I guess you can teach someone how to do a powerchord and tell him "well you just learned a John Petrucci's lick" but that would be dishonest as hell, basically what you did
And just to be clear, I did not say your tutorial was bad, it actually is really good, just saying the title is not what the video content is, that's it :) I even gave it a like so don't think I am a hater, cause I'm not !
This was sooooo well done!
Awesome!!!

This lesson was Awesome !!!

Loving this Channel. What type of amp and setup are you using for that tone. Beautiful

Please watch Billy and the Kids with Billy Strings playing a Les Paul. That would make a good video for your series.
thanx for the suggestion, will def. take a look at it 👍
EXCELLENT!!!
Great lesson! Not much talking first, right Into the Action!
how high are your strings? i know joe plays with high like 0.9/0.8 to get them big bends
hi eddie, sorry for the late answer. i actually have a pretty regular string action, not very high. cheers tom
Great tone and lesson... what amp did you use to get that tone...i mean what amp ???
hey there, sorry for my late answer. I actually used a fender bassbraker, cheers tom
Can u tell me whats the name of the song you are playing licks pls
it is from the song 'sloe gin'.

I wonder how you got that tone? What amp and pedals are u using?
hey enrique, thanx alot for the nice comment. was using a Suhr Badger 30 with OX Box, actually no pedals... just some EFX from the daw. Cheers mate!
Thank you. What key are the licks in, trying to work out what position within minor pentatonic they occur in. Thx
hey there, the tune is basically in G-Major. Cheers!
@@TomMarcozzi awesome video thank you
have you talked about the copy paste of Eric Johnson 's lick he did every time ?
well you are totally right about that, but somehow the two still sound very different. guess its the alternate picking of JB that catches me more 😅
👍👍👍👍👍
John is good, isn't he?
jepp, Joe is really good!
@what humbucker are you using ? Bare knuckle ? SD, Dims ?
those are the original (stock) pickups gibson put into this CC4 👍
great stuf man but can u do it white dot stop within the licks
hey thanx man, not so sure what you mean with ‚white dot stop‘? can you explain more..
@@TomMarcozzii ment if u can play it like solo. you have great vibrato and sound man im sory for my bad english
oh ok, might do another video and play it as a solo 👍

What song are these solos from?

put a tab and it will be better
Basically you just chose 30 secondes and made a tutorial calling it "5 Joe Bonamassa licks" to get more views
