I'm a single guy in my 50's , never owned a dog in my life , had the pleasure of being blessed with owning a miniature cockapoo what a sense of happiness and well being a dog like that brings into your life ❤️
Hi Claudia. My Daughter has just got an 8 week old Cockapoo. His name is Cooper. How did you manage to litter train Peach as Cooper isn’t getting the hang of the puppy training pads?
@@cathhouston7932 I did try to use the pad but it isn’t working. So I train Peach to go toilet in the back garden 🪴 reward her when she goes toilet outside and take her out as many times throughout the day as possible. Give her a verbal or hand signal to let her know it’s time to go toilet.
I am blessed to have an 18 month old male Cockapoo - received him at 8 weeks and we have been together ever since. He is smart, funny, easy to train, great personality, love the other dogs in the neighbrhood. Follows me from room to room. Very attentive to my feelings. He is protective of our home - barks at anyone coming near the house altho won't bark at those same people out on the street - only when they approach the house. He is amazingly smart and I am so glad we live together. I would recommend a Cockapoo to anyone. But I will say, I have spent every hour of every day with him, except for errands outside the house so he has had a lot of attention and support. I don't think this is a breed that should be left alone all day. I am retired at 71 years old so we go on at least 4 or 5 walks a day.
What an amazing and a beautiful life with such a pure soul on this planet with you? Peach even makes your life more colourful and happy, you guys are blessed and also you are great hearted to share your joy with Peach and raised her with such a huge responsibility. Thank you guys i mean just seeing Peach is literally Happy, Happy, and Happy. You are an admirable and adorable Dog-Parents i have ever seen on the UA-cam...
Wow! You did an amazing job training Peach. She is so smart and appears very happy. I have a 6 mo. old, Chocolate Cockapoo and he is the highlight of my life as well.
She is just so beautiful, our Cockerpoo puppy, Penny is just over 6 months now and she’s out walking with us off the lead and staying close and returning to me when I call. Great breed I love them. Thanks for this video
Maybe I should make some training videos too! Cockapoo is quite easy to train I’m sure you will do fine as well 😊let me know if you have any questions.
Hi, I also just got a mini cockapoo and Im struggling with the right crate size for a cockapoo. I the one I bought is too small (56L, 33W, 41H cm) for her now as she is about 4 months old and I was wondering which size crate you bought so that I can buy the right size.
Peach crate size is about H63 × W58 x D93cm she is 1 now and still sleeping in her crate (I would say it’s just fit). You can go for a bigger size if you like. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions. ☺️
She had all her shots when you got her? I just got a cockapoo he’s 3months but I’m too scared to take him out where other dogs might have been due to all worms & germs that can hurt them
The breeder said she got all shots done, but we realised that she wasn’t a week after so didn’t take her out until it’s all good. We only went out for like 10 mins and not meeting other dogs so she was fine.
We just got a 2 months cockatoo she is not nearly 3. How long it took yours to pee us upside? Ours is popping outside and pees out but still does inside. I love the tricks by the way - would love ours to learn it.
I just got a 3.5 month old cockapoo thats full of energy we are having some crating issues where he just cries and cries. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for what I can do to help with this?
I am sure you are doing great! Peach was crying loads too when she was a baby, I train her to go in the crate for treats many times in the day and each time she needs to stay there longer (keep feeding when she is in the crate), eating her meal in the crate, put all toys in there too (cockapoo are very possessive) so they can keep all their stuff in their room. Hope that's helpful.
Can I ask the reason for using a crate? I had a dog some years ago and we never used one so I’m unfamiliar with the use of this. Actually thinking about getting a cockapoo 🤩
@@joannareuto4591 I’m not a professional dog trainer, we crate training so Peach can be more independent like sleeping alone in the living room without crying, not messing with things and toilet everywhere at night or marking territory like sofa if she sleeps on it at night. Cockapoo quite often have separation anxiety so that’s why we are crate training still so she learn that we will be away sometimes but she is safe in her room.
@@claudia555 thank you so much for answering to my question! I was reading about it too and seems like, as you said helping them to have their own space. Peach is lovely!
Do you mind if I ask how she goes while youre at work, or do you work from home? I'd like to get a cockapoo, but I'm concerned how she will go when I'm working, as I don't have any family nearby who could spend time with her during the day. This video was such a joy to watch, Peach is wonderful, and you are both such amazing parents to her, she has a really wonderful life surrounded by all that love, and all the runs theough the forest and parks 🌸
Awww thank you so much ☺️ having Peach is one of the best things ever. We mostly work from home so she got company most of the time. I would suggest taking her to a dog walker when you are at work. Cockapoo tend to have separation anxiety that’s why we do crate training - she sleeps alone in her room at night to improve that. You could try that too. Take your doggy for a morning walk there leave a couple of toys in the crate to entertain them (sometimes we have her dental stick so that will last longer) now she could be on her own for about 5 hours without crying and destroying her bed (meaning angry 😆) Otherwise, you can also bring your dog to work if that’s allowed so your cockapoo can socialise and get used to being calm in situations. I am just a dog mum but I hope that helps 😊
I have acocopoo.he is 15 months got him when he was 2 months he is lovely he so crazy not S bad as now but he is soso hard work I am a a. Older person 😊
We mostly work at home so we are with Peach all the time. I would say a morning walk/run is good for the pooch. Or if you consider dog walker who can take your doggy out when you are working.
