I have received my Nama about four days ago and I have made at least 6 quarts of juice. Your tips have been so helpful, I was able to hit the ground running with a good set of mason jars and the vacuum sealing device. I am shocked at how delicious a jar of green vegetables can taste with simply throwing one apple into the mix. I’d like to get to the point where I can drink a straight vegetable juices from time to time but for now this is definitely getting far more vegetables in my system than I was ever getting before.
Recently discovered your UA-cam a couple hours ago and I am so excited to get my first juicer , I went with the Nama J2! I used your code thank you for the 55 bucks off 🎉
*A tip on the Nama J2 lever:* you only need to just 'hook' or 'latch' the lever over the top of the pulp ejection spout. As soon as it is over the top, just leave it alone. You're all set. I think some people may feel the need to push it on real good but there's NO NEED. In fact, you can litterly use the juicer without the lever because the lever only needs to keep the bottom of the spout up when the bowl is no longer seated onto the motor base. So just keep that in mind that there's really no need to force that part at all. It just needs to make it onto the top of the ejection spout with the smallest effort and you're done.
One thing I've noticed about the Nama J2 is that it is actually super quiet just like the Hurom here when you open it brand new and use it for the very first time. It is only after using it for some time that it becomes a little louder like it is in this video. I know this because I have essentially done a real life comparison of used vs brand new.
Hurom H320N is actually the direct exact comparison to the Nama J2 as it's the same machine. The H300 is good in that it tries to bring innovation to juicers and as a first design I commend Hurom for trying and I can see that future models will iron out the kinks and make juicing a lot more simple

Thank you for taking the time to break it down by time code. All this is new to me and I’m just trying to figure out the best equipment to give myself the best chance to to fight this thing.Thank you so much.
Great job! Love the use of Pineapple. I take back my statement on my previous post about only using carrots in your Hurom comparison videos. I'm now sold on the Nama although I purchased the Sana Supreme 727 a few months ago based on your excellent reviews. I use it daily. Must respect 👍🏾
That looks like the typical pineapple experience with Hurom juicers. At least, all the Hurom juicers (3) I've owned/used. Any juicer can process carrots and apples. The real test comes with fibrous produce such as pineapple or broccoli. I am not at all surprised by these results.
Both of these juicers are made by the exact same manufacturer in the same building. They both have the same parts and are even quite similar in appearance.
@@1mythalive the problem was the blade being too stiff to turn. I’m in Japan and bought it here. Perhaps there is a quality control issue. Also unless you cut the leaves and stems into 3cm or smaller the juicer could jam. Overall I believe the Nama is performing better but the Huron 300 is pretty good. I can’t get the Nama here
The spout troubles reminds me of the 50/50 with my SlowStar. I used a small citrus peeler for a while that had a flat pointy end, but that broke. So I found a seafood fork, crab tool thing that could get inside and pull. It was usually the pesky celery. Then there was the time it became a mortar when I was feeling adventurous and lazy and tried to make a coconut and date nutmilk, but missed a seed in one date. It shot that guy out, but cracked my screen. Thrn there was the time I left coconut and something else in a closed Ninja Bottle and forgot. One day lying on the ground like reading or on my phone the bottle pops up about 3-4 feet in thr air like a bouncing Betty and explodes in a mist as the lids pops off and then the sludge from the coconut and like cactus fruit or whatever splits all over the ground...like vomit. The force of the explosion, possibly what launched it blew a hole tiny chunk out of the Ninja lid. Like not the hinge part, a little pizza slice size of hard plastic.
I hope that you will soon make a comparison video of all of the compact, budget juicers. That being the original Shine juicer vs the new Shine XL vs the new Hurom 310. I see a lot of pros and cons to all of them but so far I think it is actually the original Shine that may be the overall winner. Why? Simply because it has continuous juicing with the most yield and a good motor base with good torque. It does all of the MOST IMPORTANT things that a juicer needs to do. And on top of all that, it is also the cheapest.
this is an excellent idea. I will film this video ! I was going to make a video with the shine vs shine XL. Each machine of course has its own set of pros and cons.
I waited for this review for many months but I gave up and bought an H300 which cost me significantly cheaper than the NAMA J2. I make all kinds of vegetables and leaves. I didn't make pineapple juice. I make about 6 liters of juice each time and it takes about 40 minutes. I cut the vegetables into convenient pieces. Celery too. The H300 grinds everything without any problem and It never got stuck. The cleanliness is the main advantage. Half a minute to a minute of a strong stream of water with a little brush and that's it. The main disadvantage for me, unlike what we saw here, when squeezing carrots and beets or kohlrabi. Small pieces get stuck between the body of the machine and the auger and it's a bit noisy. And the machine produces, as we have seen, a little more pulp. Besides, the speed of cleaning is worth everything. And with me, as mentioned, the machine does not stop.
The Spring sale going on lasts for 4 more days for Hurom H400! Just a heads up. Its selling for $446 with free shipping. I'm torn between Nama J2, Omega Effortless Batch, and Hurom H400. The measly 10% off codes for the Nama still makes it more expensive than H400, but I don't think the H400 does batch juicing.
A gal put a youtube video up on the J2...FYI. It's called what you didn't know about the J2. After cleaning it, you have to put it completely together BEFORE sitting it on the base because there is a little thing that sticks up that doesn' t allow you to seat it if you don't have it completely together.
Can you compare hurom H300 and omega effortless with celery. My opinion, if it takes a little longer it's fine because while it's juicing my celery I can make my smoothie so it's perfect. The oxidation isn't that bad. But if I had to shove a bamboo stick up there than yes that would be annoying. But I hate cleaning screens!

Your friend FullyRawKristina has a comparison video of the Hurom H310 and the Nama J2: ua-cam.com/video/7MN0H_WVomk/v-deo.html Of course it won't be a real comparison until John gets ahold of it. 😉 I must say, I didn't look at the 310 that well in the beginning and so I didn't realize it didn't have a hole at the top for continuous juicing like the bigger 300 and the J2. This might actually mean that the Tribest Shine XL would be the better compact juicer, overall. Continuous juicing is a pretty big deal in my book. That said, a comparison is definitely needed. I do see a lot of pros and cons to each model so far...
It is on my to do list to make a J2 vs Hurom H310, her videos are nothing like mine. For one, I am an authorized Nama and Hurom dealer. My comparisons are much more detailed, and IMO more impartial. As she is ONLY a Nama affiliate. The basic truth is that each machine has its own set of pros and cons, that customers should be aware of to make the best decision for them, which is my goal to go into detail, so customers have no stone unturned in their mind.
I'm not seeing the discount code. I've tried using the provided from previous episodes and I'm told isn't recognized. Has the code changed or they no longer providing discounts.
Isnt the Nama J2 also being produced by Hurom as can be seen in one of their blogs? Pls compare both Nama J2 and H320 since Nama J2 is not available where I live. Thanks.
The Nama J2 is Designed by Namawell USA with assistance from Hurom Engineering and is manufactured in the Hurom World--Class manufacturing facilities in S. Korea. for Namawell.. Namawell is an independent company that is able to make its own mfg decisions regarding its juicer. A strong motivation of Nama is to make their machines easy to use so people use them more and drink more juice. I am not sure of Hurom's design criteria. . The H320 is not available in the USA at this time, so I have no plans on testing it. Nama will ship the Nama J2 to most countries around the world at bit.ly/j2juicer , and it would be my first choice if I could buy one. I believe it to be a better designed machine. Of course, the H320 would be a juicer that is good, but I see it having the downside of the smaller hopper that may not work as well as the Nama hopper. Also if Hurom is using the same motor in the H320 as the H300, the motor is not as powerful as the Nama J2. Plus the warranty is likely shorter on the H320 than the Nama as well. That being said, if you cant buy a Nama J2, the Hurom H320 may be your best option, as hurom does make some of the best juicers in the world.
Keep in mind that two companies can have a similar product manufactured on the same line but produce completely different products because of manufacturing specifications and quality control standards.

You have two options: buy a new juicer on Amazon (around $100) or find a Used NAME BRAND / High end korean made (like Omega) on a site like offerup or craigslist. I would prefer to get a used name-brand juicer over a used chinese one.
Yes, he has stated most recently that the Nama J2 is still his favorite juicer because it allows him to batch juice a lot of juice in a much shorter amount of time and is also very convenient to use. And this is true even though you can technically get a higher yield in the Sana 727 and an even higher yield with the Tribest Dynapro vacuum blender when used with Alexa's nut milk bags. Though John recommends any of those 3 as being the top juicers on the market at present time. Depending on everyone's individual, specific needs will determine which juicer is right for them.
@@truthinentertainment1028 great summary, which is accurate :) I would add the Sana 727 takes more effort/labor and time when juicing large volumes as I do.

I must say, I didn't look at the 310 that well in the beginning and so I didn't realize it didn't have a hole at the top for continuous juicing like the bigger 300 and the J2.

Nama has to consider the market of 1.3 billion people world's most purchasing power.

Could you compare the Vitality 5800 | J1 by NAMA to the Hurom H26 ? I doubt you can spot the difference.
Can I use your discount code in 🇬🇧?
Can you do a video making a smoothie with j2
What about nama j2 vs the h400?
I need a juicer, I have been diagnosed with cancer, but All of the good juicers I can’t afford, what should I do?
Then buy a less expensive juicer, they’re still just as good, just not so durable, good luck, mate
You have two options: buy a new juicer on Amazon (around $100) or find a Used NAME BRAND / High end korean made (like Omega) on a site like offerup or craigslist. I would prefer to get a used name-brand juicer over a used chinese one.
great video!
Can I buy the J2 thru you?
Nothing beats the Kuving 830. Nothing.
Can you use the juice from a masticating juicer for canning?
Yes, you would boil the juice and then can into sterilized jars as normal.
my Phillips juicer always fail if i use it for juicing Pineapple the fiber from pineapple jam the machine
What juice produces least amount of foam and pulp Nama J Hurom or Kuving??
Reduce foam by allowing juice to collect in the bowl rather than letting it flow from the spout
Hi John is the Nama J2 still your favourite juicer?
Yes, he has stated most recently that the Nama J2 is still his favorite juicer because it allows him to batch juice a lot of juice in a much shorter amount of time and is also very convenient to use. And this is true even though you can technically get a higher yield in the Sana 727 and an even higher yield with the Tribest Dynapro vacuum blender when used with Alexa's nut milk bags. Though John recommends any of those 3 as being the top juicers on the market at present time. Depending on everyone's individual, specific needs will determine which juicer is right for them.
YES. That has not changed. See ua-cam.com/video/9a9ZgbddIOE/v-deo.html for the 10 reasons why I love it so much.
@@truthinentertainment1028 great summary, which is accurate :) I would add the Sana 727 takes more effort/labor and time when juicing large volumes as I do.
This is a funny video because they make the same parts as nama lol
Hurom is better than nama j2
It’s funny because you cut the video just before scaling the pulp 😂
I will stick with my J2
👍👍
