This video is not intended for children under the age of 14. Quite frankly, kids...I'm just some random old dude talking about nostalgic TV and movie stuff from a really long time ago and I highly doubt that it is going to interest you.

tv land proudly announced they would no longer air the Dukes due to the flag on the roof. a show as innocent as Father knows Best. I have boycotted tv land ever since. so nonsensical
Loved the Dukes of Hazzard.😊
I loved that show. I never missed an episode. 😊
I met this wonderful gentleman in Charlotte NC at the Western show with Donna Douglas and I didn't know he was living in Hickory at the time he's also an accomplished artist
I think he also played a role in twilight zone where he dies but comes back to life
I remember seeing him in a sci-fi horror movie called The Killer Shrews. Apparently he also made a sequel with John Schneider.
I was fortunate enough to meet Mr Best several years ago. Definitely a high point in my life
loved this show classic.
Yep! Dad was out at the bar on Friday night and mom moved out years prior. We could watch what we wanted and dad would give us 20 bucks to get pizza and my brother aged 14 would also ask for a six pack of beer. They never asked for dad because he never answered the door.
He was guitar player Jim Lindsey on two episodes of The Andy Griffith Show
When I was a kid, Friday night was for The Incredible Hulk and the Dukes of Hazard
I remember seeing him on the twilight zone too
Same for me! Plus I was gifted one of his paintings shortly before he passed. Cool fella indeed.
Both shows were great.
If you have not seen it, try to watch James Best in the Gunsmoke episode "With a Smile". Great dramatic western episode. Worth viewing for sure.
I remember James best from the Twilight Zone
I loved the Killer Shrews!
This is good TV series to have which
That show had NO bias toward any type of people. It was good 'ol boys never meaning no harm 👍
I love the incredible hawk, but I never watched Duco hazards. I hope you still answer my question about Billy Hills 920 I was wondering alive I know she had cancer so I was wondering the other day on Facebook they said she died but I don’t know if it’s true or not being she has cancer
Amen why can’t they make shows like that? I guess they are just not smart enough
The flag on the General Lee never offended me.
Although I didn't realize it as a kid, I understand now why some people might find it offensive.
James Best lived in my hometown Inverness, FL. My dad paved the road leading to his house. I remember the first time I met him I was 5 and I saw him in the bank. He said hi to my mom and me. I told him to stop chasing Bo and Luke and he laughed and said " It not my fault that I chase Bo and Luke, Little Buddy. That mean Boss Hog tells me to chase them."
Hey, that is so cool!
I live in Ocala and I don't think I ever knew that he once lived there.
I know that Mel Tillis lived close by me and I always hoped I would run into him around town some day, but then sadly we lost him.
I need to know what channel 9 was showing at 8pm.
I think he wrote 400 hits, for various artists, including Elvis.
You should see it dubbed in French, hits completely differently.
Also great in the twilight zone.
Increible Hulk was a great show. Dukes was good yet campy ha
James is Best❤
Somehow, ABC always seemed dialed in to the youth culture. More than CBS and to a lesser extent, NBC
What did the "P" stand for?
It stands for Purvis. His full name was Rosco Purvis Coltrane
