And you're leaving from literally my favorite spot in all of Lancaster County. Countless times I've stopped there with a book, notepad, and folding chair and sat up in that little grassy area in front of the cemetery wall, whiling away perfect summer afternoons with the ghosts of Marie Ferree and other Revolutionary War era Lancaster Countians, listening for the far off train whistle to meander closer and closer.
First turn was east on 30, not west--it can get confusing. The buggy bus on Belmont was tourists--never saw Amish using them. The building straight ahead at intersection of Belmont and Harvest is a doctor's office--just took my wife there on Friday. The rest of the route was our trip home. It is so peaceful out here, and the people are so nice. New Holland is a wonderful place to live, but very commercial with trucks everywhere. I get stuck behind some of the most unbelievable contraptions.
Thanks for the tour! beautiful scenery!!! Thanks for Sharing!! 🩵😃
