Hi Tanja, .. glad the books have been helpful. I have no idea if or when another or any German language books will be printed/reprinted. This depends on the companies involved in the encaustic art supply channels. Sorry, I don't know :)

How do you finish these pieces? Do you mount them on a panel or Matte and frame them?

There's no definitive answer really - whatever suits your final display requirements. The watercolour paper stays flat in my experience, so can be treated in any or the ways you offered. Where there is any thickness of wax on the paper surface then there is always the possibility of damage by scratching of that wax, so glazed framing can pay off there. Or you can seal the wax with an acrylic sealing coat as a final finish, but even acrylic can scratch. The paper's edges, if natural from the making process, can be attractive to see too, so it really depends on your own choice.

Is there a list of colors you use? Or a list of colors you recommend for beginners?

I'm so excited to try this. I'm a watercolorist and love this painting. I don't know anything about encaustic painting. I have ordered your book. Is there a list of supplies you recommend in your book. Thank you for such an informative video.
