you can make drain opener from baking soda but it takes 30 minutes.
dont pour vinegar instead get steel pot and boil baking soda for 30 mins which converts it into NaOH.
OR
get hot pan and pour baking soda and leave for 15 mins then prepare a hot water in steel pot and boil for 15 mins to make NaOH.

ดีจังค่ะ แต่มีข้อติงอย่างนึง ตอนที่ใช้ bicarbonate ทำความสะอาดพรมน่ะ เคยอ่านจากหนังสือแม่บ้านออสเตรเลียให้ sprinkle bicarb ให้ทั่ว ทิ้งไว้ครึ่งชั่วโมงแล้ว vacuum ทำเหมือนกัน แต่ทางนี้บอกว่าเป็นการขจัดกลิ่นให้หมดไป ไม่ได้clean ค่ะ ยังไงดี นี่ก็ทำทุก weekค่ะ ไม่ได้สังเกตุว่าพรมสะอาดขึ้นรึเปล่า

I live in a trailer court and my landlord has dug up sewer line at two houses in the last 12 months. He has done this once before that about two years ago. Sewers in trailer courts are hard to keep clear. My most used of two bathroom sinks is always clogging up. I have been using one of those 3" long plastic sticks with thorns all the way along the length. The latest time it did not do anything. So I resorted to baking soda,vinegar and scalding hot water. I did this 7 times until I finally got tired and quit. I hope this works. I used over 4 lbs of Baking Soda and half a gallon of white vinegar and 7 gallons of hot water.

I think the enamel is stronger than the baking soda. After few minutes it will dissolve away with water. I mix it with salt and use with toothpaste. I feel the whole mouth cleaner than before. Don' t use it too much.

Baking soda is one of the easily available thing in kitchen. It has many benefits like for skin cure, dental health, bloating issue etc. It can be mixed with lemon to get the benefits and better if taken on empty stomach in the morning.

Caustic soda is caustic (it is in the name...) so it should be handled carefully. The main reason it helps with blockages is with blockages caused by fat. Soda reacts with fat, making soap/detergent. The detergent then helps carry some other dirt that may be contributing to the blockage. So if you dissolve it with water (safer with cold water), it can travel to wherever the fat is. It then turns into soap after some time. You can then run water and that clears fat and solvable substances. Using hot water increases the danger it will spill and cause serious injury. Vinegar or coke will react with the soda and neutralise it, turning into salt, meaning you need to apply more soda (ok, the foam may help a bit...) - worse than this is to apply chorine/bleach (although it is a disinfectant and can break some dirt, it will neutralise the soda...and potentially more easily boil it). Obviously, when it started to unblock with soda, you can run cold and then hot water. Be patient and you will have better results. Worst case, call the experts or use mechanical methods (but be careful with what chemicals you added and whether they can spill)
