AHH the memories! 😂 The Ulster Folk & Transport Museum does take at least a full day to cover, or two days if you want to take it abit more relaxed! I worked there for about 5yrs on & off as an Electrical contractor over 20/25 years ago in the transport & folk end. I was there the day the Delorean was put in place & I actually had a chance to sit in it!
Dan playing with all the stuff and leaving Mazzy behind, reminded me of taking my kids to the museum. Ha. He was definitely in his happy place. I love it when Mazzy says, "Oh, Bless him". You can tell you really mean it.

Whilst I think the entry price is good value it is a shame that you can’t visit the next museum the day after rather than having to rush. Really enjoyed the transport museum guys - well done nice video xx

I remember seeing one of the first Mondeos off the production line down at Beaulieu Motor Museum in the mid 90s, it was highlighter pen green, seemed really modern at the time!
Hi Mazzy and Dan. Do you still have the old broken microphone pieces? If you do, compare the jack from the old one to the jack from the new one. Make sure the length, diameter and seperation (if it is a stereo mic) are the same. Little differences make a big difference. Just a thought! The DMC 12 is the Delorean I believe the one you saw there may have been a prototype. The originals were made in Belfast Northern Ireland. That is my favourite car of all time. There is a business tower in Houston Texas that has a gold plated one in their lobby. It’s stunning. A company in Texas bought the rights and restores/builds them now
DMC ( Delorean Motor Company) the car was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro the manufacturer was in New York City but assembly was in Dunmurry , Belfast model years 1981 - 1983
A must would be a trip to the Giants Causway on the Antrim Coast, also the rope bridge. For lovers of whiskey, a tip to Bushmills Brewery is highly recommended, (no driving afterwards)

Why theres nothing left of it...i went up a few years ago with a film crew and the grand staircase was still in tact..been back recently and its collapsed and the whole place has been vandalised and stuff has been stolen...theres nothing there to see anymore, its now just a derelict building..
What's with the dudes dissing the De lorean?! The De lorean is a cult classic car, attaining fame far greater than many cars have ever seen or will ever achieve. Who cares if it wasn't a hotshot muscle car! You couldn't have found a better model car for, "Back To The Future." The fact you could actually go out and buy one, unlike the Batmobile, made it ever more fantastic. It certainly wasn't any worse than some other cars that bombed. Literally! How about the Ford Pinto?! One bump to the back bumper could blow you all to bits, and they made thousands of them.
The Delorean was an Irish made, American designed car that went bust because the CEO and founder turned to international drug dealing in order to raise cash to keep the company afloat. There are more parts available for Deloreans than there are Deloreans. It’s iconic and deserves its place in automotive history BUT it really was a bit of a lemon.
