I haven't laughed this much in months 8:37 That was so darn funny! But it also shows how vacuum is actually humane as well. The little mouse was inside the vacuum and looked like it actually ate up the crackers left inside when it was sucked up. It also goes to show how people always assume that mice and rats are in people's "dirty homes". This was a mansion with a $100,000 theater room. The mansion looked so beautiful and still had this problem. Oh and Hellraiser, oh yes!!! Great video like always.
Dude it might actually be even worse for a mansion, because they are so big and have ornate fountains and gardens and a billion places to hide and ways to come into property. When you have a house that's the size of a compound there's a lot of entry points BUT at least if you can afford a mansion then it's probably no skin off your bones to drop 10k to hire a great team like these guys to clear them out.

What a lovely home, Reminds me of Mark Wahlberg's house in California. Loved the slo-mo footage.
Ratvac seems like a wonderful option, but a word of advice to anyone that thinks snap traps don’t work, you must place the traps with the front being the only accessible point! You don’t have to cover the top, just make sure the walls around and behind the trap and taller than a few inches (for mice) higher for rats. I also recommend the tomcat traps with the yellow cheese bait plate, with a dab of peanut butter on the innermost part on the plate.
The twin hood is essentially the same setup Im explaining, I’m not sure about rats, but a design like this works 100% of the time with the mice I deal with.
I agree. We get a few mice every year when the weather turns cold, especially since we live in the country surrounded by fields. We set a snap trap in the same place with peanut butter and it works every time. They're cheap and effective.
Have you tried the 5 gallon bucket with the diving planks? They climb and go to the edge of the top of the bucket and their weight causes the floor to flip them in the bucket. Supposedly the best way.

Yeah, with the size of that theatre in the house, it's no wonder they got mice. With the setting foam, do you guys get mice and rats eventually chewing through it? I've seen some mixed reviews on it but was contemplating on buying some.

This is great….. but seems you need a new vacuum, a camera and to sit there until the rat/mouse turns up. You also need to rebate constantly. I had a rat get in recently so I checked for entry points at ground level stuffed the hole with screwed up rodent proof metal mesh and then packed in a load of grout. I then ensured all water/food sources were unavailable. He hid in the loft, but eventually had to leave the roof and jump to ground outside to get water. During this time I found his hole outside and shoved a load of chlorine pellets down in there chucked some water down there to activate the chlorine and sealed the Holes with grout. I covered the ground over the hole with chlorine pellets as well and then gave the ground a nice good watering and I can only imagine it made his water and nose sting pretty bad if he came close to the entry point again. spent a few days away and then 4 days later trying to get back in again (heard chewing and scraping) but then gave up after a few days. Not heard from the little sh1t since.
you caught one mouse after 3 days..does it have to be reset after each mouse?
As a painting contractor I have used my shop vac to quickly get rid of wasps and hornet nests......they work beautifully!!

The first mice looks like Mimi mouse
I bought a dresser. When they delivered it, a mouse ran out. 😮 in the evening I could hear it. When I looked behind my couch, there was this tiny little mouse with his head in the corner not moving. I grabbed a pair of salad tongs and I picked them up and I put them outside. I just couldn’t kill it. Never had any mouse problems again. He was so cute. PS: never use the salad tongs again and threw them out.

I saw Hell Raiser when I was 9. My brother is 8 years older than me and either mistakenly....or perhaps purposely...let me watch it with him and my other brother. I had nightmares for years...well into my teens. As an adult I can laugh when watching the film, but jfc did that movie and Candy Man ruin bedtime, lol.

ok. anyone with a background in construction would know luxury homes are built in sections with additions and transitions from one section to another that might have been added at a later date. these are critical areas that must be thoroughly inspected for entry points. utilities are normally run through these areas as to hide electrical or plumbing. concrete slabs for car ports or florida rooms sometimes even enclosed porches give rodents a way into the home. now for you newbies in the game, let your favorite uncle bring you up to speed. where do you think all the junk food, trash, food wrappers and anything else you can think of goes. if you said in the hole before slab is poured or stuffed down into the hollow block you can move to the front of the class. 2-million-dollar home with a strong smell of urine with a thousand small drain flies but can't locate the source. three companies called out and three companies sent packing. cut the wall open behind the pantry only to find a five-gallon bucket half filled with urine...stay thirsty my friends.

How come the rat vacuum isn't on your products page
I dont like poisoning because of the chances of a dog or something getting it. If a dog eats rat poison like the bars or pellets you want to immediately force them to drink a couple shots of hydrogen peroxide it doesn't take much and usually every household has the regular hydrogen peroxide and that will cause the dog to puke all the poison up it won't have a choice but to evacuate everything in their stomach. Ive saved 2 dog's this way it's not fun or ideal but in a emergency it saves the dog and they feel fine shortly after or the next day both times the dog's had eaten large bars of poison.
