- Hello! Please don't mind the shaking, my camera stand is terribly flimsy. In this video, I will cover the deck itself, the reasons behind some card choices and what I think will be future meta contending cards for deck spots in the Pure Spright deck.
Runick builds: Not a big fan of Runick variants because of the amount of engine cards the deck has, and because time becomes an issue. Having to break boards with minimal (6-8) flexi spots is tough this meta, as there aren't a set few cards that will kill most meta decks. Handtraps are the way to go!

Hi, thank you very much for the good video! Which matchups do you side Anubis or Krystia against? I love Spright, but I'm not that good with the deck yet. I am grateful for your help and look forward to even more Spright videos!
Thanks for the comment! Anubis was mainly for Unchained and Tear last format, and Kristya is for Purrely (both cats are Fairy, white cat is Light) and you can consider throwing it in against Centurion as a surprise factor as well. Trying to find some better targets this format, but this will just depend on how it all rolls out.
How do you feel about Dark simorgh as a target for lab and race matchups in the upcoming format as spright seems to struggle against those
Seems OK against Lab, but Jinzo I'd say is slightly better being a 1-tribute monster. Means that you can summon it by tributing over a Fenrir or a Starter special/Beavers off an Angler pitch. You won't be able to summon it against R-ACE unless they summon Diabellstar though, and they might be able to use S:P to banish it it/remove it with some other card like Tactics.
Is anti spell for sky striker?
It's a generic floodgate that works on most decks because most decks require spells to search/combo. It also stops some board breakers (Raigeki, Dark Hole, Duster, Lightning Storm etc). This format, I think Summon Limit is better though. I would not consider siding specific cards for only 1-2 matchups unless it's close to a Tier 0 format.
