I was literally shaking and he rubbed my back and calmed me down lol. I was quite young and nervous then. I’d love to have the opportunity to meet him again, I’m older and more confident now so I could make better conversation

I love how the woman from X Files is so condescending towards her fans and yet Matt is like "i love it, i think it's really cool!" That's what i love about the cast of Doctor Who, like David, John, Matt, Karen. They give so much to the fan base and are happy to give up their weekends to meet fans at conventions. Perhaps it was just this interview, but i got the impression that Gillian Anderson doesn't care much for her fans.

The fact that Matt Smith's surname is actually Smith just makes it quite funny :)
