Hey, I like your channel. But, please check on your yearly colors. Last year was yellow. You start on #1 not a # 0. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Not 0, 1, 2, 3, 4. You know what I mean? This year is red. Thanks
Hey Jackie, Yeah, it looks like you use a 5-color system which is nice! I use a 3-color system because we don't allow our queens to become three years old before replacing her, so the 3 colors work out fine for us. Red is a good one I just don't see it as good! Thanks!

Its amazing how adding some frames of capped brood will stimulate the Queen into laying once they start hatching. I have seen so many other bee keepers get rid of Queens when all they needed to do is just add some capped brood. Some will refuse to believe that it fixes the problem 95% of the time. Well here is yet more proof for all to see. This method works, Try what Braqdon has done before you accuse the Queen of being bad. Just because a colony is small it does not mean it is weak. I do a similar method but also add an empty brood frame to the side of capped brood. Especially in the spring with late swarms which did not have a chance to build big numbers going into the fall. Great little video there Brandon.
Well said there. I was always told by my mentor that giving a frame of brood is like giving a seriously ill person an IV. It helps out tremendously! I appreciate the kind comment.
Nice looking colony of bees Brandon, looks like your Spring is off to a good start.👍
Hey Dave!
They will get there with this nice weather coming up, just have to give them some time. 👍
Thanks for the kind words.
Woah, that’s a big queen! Off to a great start this spring! 😍
