A Tribute to Valegro

Has there been another horse who has done so much for the world of dressage? Ahead of Valegro's appearance at Olympia on Tuesday 13th, and his retirement on Wednesday 14th, we have spoken to some of those who love him best. I love that he has retired at the top of his game. He can now just enjoy his life and be a horse. The whole team are amazing and it’s fantastic to see a horse so loved and respected.

Lovely! I haven't seen this for years but it still brings a tear to my eye. All those keyboard warriors who call out horse sport for being cruel should watch this - they have no idea how loved and well cared for these horses are!

Valegro you are then king of dressage you and Charlotte are a living legend. You will always be remember blueberry you and Charlotte are my idol I've always looked up tow these individuals since they won gold in 2012. Blueberry you will always be remembered you have shown all of us the power of dressage in a completely different way. There will never be another horse like you Blueberry enjoy your retirement boy you have no more to show us you have shown us enough on the magic of dressage and the connection horse and rider form. There are no words on how fantastic you and Charlotte were togther. Blueberry there will never be a horse like you again enjoy your retirement you deserve it boy x

Thanks to the Olympia team for putting this amazing tribute together! He's a horse in a million and the sport of dressage can never repay him, Carl, Charlotte, Alan, Roly and Anne enough for what they've done and achieved. Some serious tissues are going to be needed over the coming weeks!
