I lost my mother to a cerebral stroke this July. I had lost my father in December 2020 to COVID! I am an only child, from India. When all hope seemed lost, this movie has given me strength. From holding on to the clothes of the funeral, to a friend saying that "I am no longer a child because I have lost so much", I can't count the literal similarities that was just thrown at me in those 160 minutes. Through the mourning of Chadwick, I also mourned my parents!
@@nothx512 Passion who? Love what? Wish I could say JK but I was alive and well back in 1993 I don't remember those movies. Guess I have to check them out maybe. And I've also have never heard anyone really discuss those movies since then.
The one thing that shocked me from this movie was the performance of Letitia Wright. I really thought she knocked it out of the park, especially with the weight on her shoulders to try and fill the hole left by Chadwick.
Just watched it and I agree with you guys so much. The acting, the music, the visuals, everything was cranked to 11 to put this beautiful story of grief and hope into a movie.
I knew the actor who plays namor was going to nail it after watching his role as Sinaloan cartel boss Rafa in narcos Mexico. He was absolutely perfect and terrifying in that show. Would highly recommend everyone watch it if you haven’t!
The cast carried the spirit of Chadwick throughout the film it was sad and beautiful, and the post credit was perfect and a beautiful final goodbye to Chadwick 😭
Literally crying within the first 5 minutes of the film and throughout the film was an emotional roller coaster, but that post credit scene was too much 😭😭 but also a beautiful final send off to the king himself 👑 RIP Chadwick ❤️
Angela Bassett losing the Oscar for What’s Love Got To Do With It was one of the biggest travesties in cinema. While I don’t think she will win an Oscar here, she most definitely should get nominated at the very least for such a commanding, powerful performance. Talk about a QUEEN!!! Wow!
A lot of the reactions I'm seeing describe the film as uniquely sad and sorrowful. Really sounds like even if T'Challa isn't the main character, his impact will be felt throughout and its pretty fitting for a Phase all about reflecting on character legacies or passing the torch onto the next generation. I just finished it, and I gotta say it is 100% the most heavy, epic, and such a beautiful, well made movie of the MCU. The shots are just out of this world gorgeous.. the characters are sooo gooood! Shuri became one of my favorite MCU characters, Namor is such a badass. Just perfect overall..
Saw it yesterday. I think I'd describe everything as incredible. The acting, the action, the villain, the emotion, the tone, the CGI, the music, all of it. It was a special experience and the a the best way to end this phase
Leticia did her shit, i felt all the emotions she gave off. i even felt concerned for her path when she tolf M'Baku she was gonna kill Namor. So good. After the 1st movie i was a lil iffy if she could do it. But she definitely did and im proud

Yes, her performance in that movie is great!
Shuri’s contrast from being the jokey little sister to a serious, heartbroken, angry leader is gonna be fun to see
It is. Shuri is different and I like it. Great performance

The fact Angela Bassett doesn't have an Oscar is almost a crime. I hoping this is the film that will finally grant her the Oscar she deserves
