Nice video, thank you. I just bought one of these and decided to pay the few extra dollars to have the assistance features. Figured if I didn't like them, I could simply turn them off. Also, it seems this model will accept the "upgraded" rear camera that's available should anyone want to do that. IMHO, this model is the sweet spot between features and price. Thanks again for the walk through.
I do like them but...... The sensors that really count (vehicle in your blind spot) aren't nearly bright enough. That said, they're certainly better than nothing in an older vehicle (I have one too), especially convertibles with their relatively small rear window and large blind spots to the rear.
Yes, you can toggle sensors on or off individually. For example I've turned the lane drift warning off because it alerted every time I changed lanes. It has no way of knowing your turn signals are on and the lane change is intentional. Is the screen too bright when using it in the night? For example to use the reverse camera for parking in a very dark area or when using the screen as a reverse mirror while driving in very dark areas?
I keep brightness cranked all the way up with no issues but there is a brightness control in settings. While some Wolfbox mirror cams allow users to adjust brightness by swiping the screen, the 850 Pro does not. You have to go to the settings menu.
Sky and Solstice are probably among the easiest vehicles to install one of these, or any rear camera in. The camera mounts above the license plate, cable passes up through the existing opening for the license plate light then follows the existing harness running behind the passenger side trunk carpet. The rocker panel covers pull straight up (clips) to remove then the cable goes behind the passenger side kick plate and up through the windshield frame cover (remove sun visor and use a panel removal tool to loosen the covers. Excess cable can be bundled and coiled up in the kick plate or trunk. The mirror itself can use an aftermarket mounting bracket to entirely replace the existing mirror. That process is shown in a separate video.

Did you like the sensors on this version? I have an 840s and was considering this for my older vehicle that doesn't have any type of warning sensors.

Thanks for sharing this. Do you if there is an option to turn off the different sensors?

Awesome video. Is it hard to install in our Sky?
