- Jim Raynor gets a visit from his ol' buddy Zeratul, who warns him of the things he has saw. He gives Raynor a device that has archived Zeratul's vision. These are the cutscenes that play during the course of this part of the game.

It's weird to me how the Zerg are actually not bad, they were just manipulated. But the ending of the protoss exspansion will probally be something like, Kerrigen leads the Zerg, Zeratul leads the Protoss, And Jim Raynor leading the Terran. And together they defeat the dark voice and everyone lives happily ever after

Kind of like the "LichKing" from Warcraft, "Without its masters command the scourge will be a bigger threat to this world, Control must be maintained.... There must always be a Lich King"
I know how she helps stop the hybrid. In the future where Kerrigan was dead, the hybrid was able to control the zerg and along the side with the hybrid, destroy the protoss and terrans and later the hybrids killed the zerg. If Kerrigan lives, shes able to free the zerg from the hybrids control because shes able to control the zerg and with the combined power of terran, zerg, and protoss, they will be able to destroy the hybrids and he fallen one.

Remember the infested terran ghost Duran from SC1 : Brood War. When Zeratul was destroying the UED base. He found different samples of experiments. The last one was a hybrid and Duran showed up. Duran is in fact either a hybrid or in disguise "the fallen one"
@ShinXari To add to your statement, here are some strange ressemblance between the 2 franchise.
Starcraft Original and Reign of Chaos ending = Super powerfull kamikaze attack to destroy a gigantic bad entity (Overmind and Archimonde).
Starting both games as the "human race" and slowly facing a strange plague (undead scourge and zerg swarm).
Second campaign, you're playing the bad guys and you conquer one of the most powerfull kingdom of the game lore (Lordaeron and Aiur).

@gmanthebeast1 He is the leader of the hybrids, that is all we know. He could be a hybrid or he could be a Xel 'Naga. No one knows. Not even Blizzard... i think.
@mindsoulbody You cant call it "cliche" just cause TWO people use the name. Also, of course they wouldent call THEMSELVES fallen, its just that the rest of the universe call them that cause of their traitorious actions (The Fallen from Transformers real name is Megatonus Prime).

What happened to raszagal or whatever her name was? Remember the matriarch thing from SC1? Wasn't she captured by the Zerg?Maybe she's the hybrid!

@ShinXari indeed very cliche, its a great game, but the whole "hidden enemy wanting to destroy all life that exists" has been used before, most notably and successfuly in

@ShinXari well I agree w/ u 100%. But again, as I said, mixing and matching wouldn't hurt.Recently some producers are trying that mix and match thingy whether they know it or now.Skyrim's dragon shout is a similar one that is similar to many mantra shouts we find in religious context often seen in real and anime medias. So yeah, wouldn't mind some varieties. XD
@vlati18 It was not only done in Mass Effect. It has been in other games as well. Many already criticized that aspect of the story here. But I would stick w/ it to see Kerrigan live. I want her to be alive, you know, so that I can take her to bed after its all over. XD
@LordManda2 i gave transformer as an example. My point was, this cliche way of portraying bad guys is getting old. Perhaps they can take some cue from the eastern world how they portray bad guys? And eastern guys can take some cue from western about the same thing? Mix and match, it will taste good. Eat the same food long enough, and it won't taste good. That was my point. XD
Why the name is cliche? Fallen One? I mean same crap in Transformer too. Why not pick ''All will fall before the Chosen One''. Do you think bad guys would call themselves fallen one? Do you call yourself stupid? -_-
