Recently noted your observation that tempo is faster. This live version is a GEM! Love your analysis. Been a fan since the 90s. Love the band more and more and at 60 can’t get enough of them! God bless Peter. Completely understand the tears my friend. Pulls it outta me now for 3 decades.
Props for doing this masterpiece....i wish there was a review though. I know it's not your thing, but I think it's fair to do if you're already familiar with the song 💯
Love me some type o negative 🥀 Peter was such a fine beast. I love your reactions, binged your channel and subscribed. You made me smile Talking about lower range voices, check Vile Valo from the Finnish band HIM. Especially the live version of “sleep walking past hope” in Orpheum theatre. Not sure it’s your cup of tea but dunno .. I think it’s a brilliant song. Good night from Holland 🤘
I also felt a bit "huh?" the first time I heard how he went up and screamed instead of dropping to that ridiculously dark and cool version that is on the recording. Another listen and I "got it". The energy is so much higher which is pretty important for live performances. @David, what you said about the higher tempo, there's another semi-common reason that bands perform their song at a higher tempo (particularly less experienced bands); tempo-creep. I've experienced it myself on stage as well as witnessed it with other bands. The excitment standing on stage and getting feedback from the audience tend to create so much energy on stage that it's difficult to stay in the original tempo. Depending on what genre and style the song is played in it can make it better or it can feel rushed when listening to it. With more time and experience, tempo-creep tend to disappear. I remember the early days of playing live and the whole band felt jolts of energy going through our bodies and it we weren't even aware that we played 10-15 bpm higher after the first ~2 songs.
There really has never been another vocalist in Metal/Rock music like Lord Petrus. He was so uniquely himself, not looking to fit into any one particular catagory. I wish we had this man here more-so than any other Metal vocalist gone at the moment..Just my humble opinion of course. I miss you Green Man. Stay Negative 💚
My brother got to with King’s X when they both opened for Mötley Crüe. He came home a fan of theirs and so did I after hearing his CD of Bloody Kisses.
When talking tempo keep in mind this is Type O. At an avg speed of 2 beats per minute (as described by Kenny Hickey in a post Type O interview) it would be difficult to not exceed this tempo, especially with a snoot full of Columbian Supremo. Cheers!
RIP Peter 💚 I will love you forever.

World Coming Down, Life Is Killing Me, and *ESPECIALLY* Dead Again are all different from anything before. You'll love 'em brother. 🤘🖤💚
Had this album, and October rust( I think is what it was called). Doesn't matter what album Steele's voice is always amazing.
I got tears running down my face from Peter's performance too. When the guy reacting to the video wiped away his tears let me know It's not just me.

8.8 even with a tear in your eye 🥲. I can respect that 👍. Great request and reaction 💯🔥💚

Good night from Holland 🤘
Ville has one of the best vocal ranges in music.
Great reaction David!!!! When I see “Cristian Woman” (live)……..I thought 💭 “This is going to be great”

Very true, I just thought the drummer was playing to a click that's why I didn't even mention it.

Love Type O!!!!! Nice reaction....
I gotta say I prefer his lower register in the studio version, because his voice sounds pitchy when he tries to sing it higher for this show.
Burnt Flowers Fallen/In Praise Of Bacchus just might change your mind💚🖤
Love both of those songs.
One of my greatest regrets in life is never seeing Typo live. One of my favorite bands growing up in the 90's.

This is a great track, Wolf Moon would be a great track to react to. Nettie is their Magnum Opus though
I miss the '90!
This is a faster tempo... I love type o but prefer the original...
